Great stay near Tampa airport and International Mall | Read all reviews
Newly renovated very clean hotel. Spacious rooms with kitchens. The beds are very comfortable! Booked this on priceline for $40/night. Great value but this hotel is worth the regular rate. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Location worked just fine pre-cruise and after cruise. It is just a couple blocks walk to the new International Mall and Bay Street, which is a nice nightlife spot, including CheeseCake Factory and nice bars and restaurants. Very close to Tampa airport. Hotel offers free shuttle to airport and two shopping malls. Hotel shuttle will take you to the cruise port for $10.00 /person. We had four people, and found Tampa Taxi would take all four of us for only $20.00. Highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.

We booked rooms for my son's cross country team. The hotel is less than 30 minutes away from Glades park and 10 minutes to busch gardens. We saved money by preparing meals in the room's kitchen. Great place to stage a group for local events and attractions. I was very surprised at how nice the Extended Stay Deluxe was. The hotel seems to be very new (or newly renovated) with very nice modern contemporary furnishings. Everything was very clean and comfortable. My room(King Bed Studio suite) was spacious, clean and relaxing. The staff was helpful and overall I had a wonderful stay. I will definitely stay here again. Once all of the mix-ups with the reservations people at the 1-800 number was corrected by the staff at the the Westshore Blvd location, the 7 day stay was excellent. The room was very clean and well equipped. The location was convenient for restaurants, shopping, golf, entertainment, airport and any other activities that one would need. The only thing that could use some improvement is a larger assortment and some additional items at the breakfast bar, such as juices, doughnuts and muffins. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, but, to make sure that the reservations are handled correctly deal directly with the hotel. They were very friendly and accomodating. Got this place for $40 a night on Priceline which was a steal and if I had to pay $90 a night I would still feel that it is a good deal. Hotel sign is a little hard to find but once you get there, the place is great. We had ourselves and three kids (5 total) in a 2 queen bedroom and had plenty of room. The room has a kitchenette and seperate living room area with pullout sofa and a recliner on top of the 2 beds. All newly remodeled and in nice shape. Swimming pool is decent size and clean and there is also a gas grill for guests to use. Free breakfast is continental but it's free and serves it's purpose. Location is great, a couple of blocks off highway and close to International Mall and also very close to airport and Raymond James Stadium.Would stay here again without hesitation. got this on priceline for $35 a night so wasnt expecting much...SURPRISE! Clean, quiet, spacious. Full kitchen with dishes and utensils, coffeemaker. Living room with couch and recliner, 2 king beds and bath. Staff very pleasant and helpful, breakfast included (cereal, juice, bagels, danish, coffee) Only downside is no supermarket within walking distance, Walgreens and Westshore Mall about a mile away. Hotel is set back from road and has a Ruths Chris steakhouse across the street. Pool area very nice and deserted during the day as most guests were working/business travelers. Loved it! Stayed here night before we left on a Cruise. Hotel was wonderful! Clean and staff was very friendly. Cont. Breakfast we GREAT. Would recomend as a pre-cruise hotel. I stayed in the Extended Stay Deluxe in a group with seven other people and we’re already planning to return next year. The rooms were big and clean, with comfy chairs and big televisions. The staff was outstanding, always ready to help out with special requests. The shuttle to/from the airport was great, and they’ll even take you to the local mall (though it’s an easy walk if you want to do that). There’s a nice little pool and some sun chairs. It’s a great place to stay. Like I said, we’re already planning to go back. The only bad thing I can say is that the free breakfast was disappointing. Some bagels, some fruit and coffee, that’s it. Cereal and milk or maybe some doughnuts would’ve been nice, especially as there were a lot of people with kids. But as long as you’re not counting on a big breakfast spread, you won’t be disappointed. I'd recommend the hotel without a doubt. My friend and I just stayed here 1 night before going on a cruise. We were very happy with it. It was clean. They also would shuttle you to the airport, the mall or restaurants and back. They did charge $10pp for shuttling to the cruise port, but that was fine. I would stay here again with no problem. We had a double room, it was plenty big enough with the kitchen and it would be great to stay at with my husband and 2 children sometime. I really enjoyed my stay at the ESA-Deluxe in Tampa. It was very relaxing and quiet even though they're presently remodeling the hotel. All of the rooms had already been remodeled and they look great! The staff was very pleasant and accomodating. The price was also reasonable. I had a great view from my hotel room...I didn't want to leave. I definitely look forward to staying there next time. Notice: Hollihans restaurant right in front of hotel has changed to a Men's strip club. I was very disappointed since the website had stated it was behind a restaurant. I mentioned to night lady I was disappointed and that they need to change website since it is misleading. I don't care to be near this. WE stayed about 3 nights. The rooms were spacious and internet access for whole stay is very cheap (sometimes not realiable either). Close to mall and pretty quiet all the time, however here is a list of things I did not like about our stay: 1. The elevator smelled like smoke the entire stay. 2. A big black hair was on our towel in bathroom. Gross! 3. A maid "Told" on us because, even though NO one was even around the eating area, and our little doggie is very well behaved, she didn't want us around that area at ALL. I couldn't believe this lady just walked up to the front desk manager and "told" on us like a little tattletale in front of our eyes. I thought it was middle school behavior gone bad! 4. Which leads me to how interesting it was that she then proceeded to sit on her tuff outside and "talk" to her friends during working hours. I've never seen so many maintance and cleaning people NOT WORKING while at work in front of the hotel. What a joke! All and all, I would stay somewhere different, especially if you have a family. I grew up in this area and prefer staying in St. PEte over Tampa any day. Always seemed safer to me and less strip clubs and nice beaches.

I had stayed when it was Wellsley. It was much nicer then I thought. It was over-run by dogs. I could hear barking and even two dog fights in the hallway. Bad smell of food also as people were cooking in the rooms. Also could not dial in to the internet at this location. Moved next door the following evening and was fine. This seems like the place for construction workers when they are on the road. Definitely not a friendly hotel. I too noticed Houlihans is no longer in front of it. It is now the Penthouse, but they say they have food.......
