After reading about the renovation project and because of recommendations from others I booked a room here. The Good: The staff was friendly & nice. Cheap rates. The Bad: Not all rooms have been renovated. In our room the carpet was dirty, the bathroom old, and the dresser broken. We didn't have hot water for at least 2 days. (maybe because of the cheap rates?) They have a limited continental breakfast that is okay but could use a little more attention. After the staff has gotten their breakfast they didn’t replenish very fast. There is no microwave to heat anything up such as the oatmeal they sometimes offer. The wireless internet signal was very weak-mostly unusable. Find a different place to stay.

My family (3) stayed at the Days Inn - Lake Havasu City in Oct. 2008. VERY reasonable price - under $60. For that price we got: A King Bed . . . microwave (but no fridge) . . . a heated pool AND spa . . . and a nice breakfast. And let's be honest - any breakfast at a motel saves you $7 - $10 PER PERSON and the time it takes to dress and drive to a restaurant. Great location on the same street as the London Bridge and English Village. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean room. Great value for the price. And just a couple hours from one of the most quaint old mining towns in America - Oatman, Arizona (see pic) I have stayed at this location of the Days Inn numerous times and I will continue to stay there. The rooms are affordable, nicely remodeled, VERY close walking distance to the London Bridge, next door to several restaurants and grocery store. The staff is VERY friendly and courteous and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Days Inn Lake Havasu to anyone I know! Ice cold A/C for those hot days! I stayed at the new Days Inn this April. The motel has come a long way and has very affordable rates. The staff was very friendly, outgoing and had a welcoming smile through out my stay. The housekeepers also did a great job during my stay as well as the initial check in. The property looks good and is convienently located to stores, shopping and best of all, the lake. I love the new continental breakfast too. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to my friends. I am out in Lake Havasu for business every couple of months and am amazed at the changes to the Havasu Inn. The property is one of the nicest in the area by far. From Wireless Internet, to coffee in the lobby, to a new heated pool and spa. I will definately be staying here on all of my visits. Keep up the good work. You are definately a hidden gem. We couldn't be happier. We had a lovely stay in Lake Havasu. The Havasu Inn is the best deal in town. One block from the Bridge, close to everything you may need. The rooms are completely renovated and CLEAN. The newly renovated pool and spa were great too. There was even free wireless internet access. Will be staying there in the future. For the price, you can't beat it. Very good Days Inn. Very freindly staff. Nice pool area to cool off (you'll need to!). Rooms clean and tidy. Breakfast is typical Days Inn (i.e. basic but OK). Try to get the suite (Room 202) which is huge and worth the slightly higher rate especially with Kids in tow. The Pros: Affordable rates ($35 through Priceline), recently remodeled, one block from London bridge, next to Safeway, has a small pool, clean, classic one star resort. I was on the water from morning until sunset - so this motel was great for when I came back from the water at night. The Cons: 1)No views - if you plan on staying in the motel room the entire time at Lake Havasu, you will be disappointed in this place. 2)I've heard from locals that this is a big party motel during major school holidays (spring/winter break). I'm sure the hotel staff has improved on handling wild, sex starved, party hearty college and high school students. Spring Break weekend. Rooms are basically for sleeping only, dont expect alot. Close to the bridge, walking distance 1/2 mile. Safeway next store for snacks. Clean pool and jacuzzi. Recommend this hotel only for a place to crash out at. Then again, who goes to Lake Havasu to hang out in there room?

The motel owners must have written those good reviews, because they didn't review this place! They obviously spent some money renovating the lobby, but when you get in the room, they are as rundown and shabby as I've seen. The carpet was torn, shabby and pulled up - I kept tripped over it going into the vanity/bathroom area; the tub was so old that the laminate was peeled off half of it - 1/2 blue and 1/2 white - looked like someone sandblasted part of it! The beds were so old they bowed down in the middle so I slept in a U shape! Does the owner of this place have a hard time coming up with a few bucks at Home Depot to replace a tub? Or carpet? For what I paid, they could replace the Tub and carpet. They just don't care. All this for $99 per night? Never again. I went to Lake Havasu this Memorial day weekend 2008 and had booked my stay for the Days Inn, my room rate was around $130, I booked my trip late last minute. Anyhow, from other reviews this about sums it up "This hotel is for partying college kids. What a dive!" I went to Lake Havasu with my two small children, when we arrived at the hotel there was like 6 21 year olds or 'college' age kids checking in also. The clerk was talking to the people in front of us about the 'part central' rooms in the back of the hotel. So when it was my turn I told her I didn't want to be near party central rooms, so she suggested we stay in room 204 which is right by the office. Seemed to make sense to me. Anyhow, heres the thing in front of the hotel there is a large vacant lot, thats where all the boat parking is. So once you attempt to go to bed, and I think Memorial Day weekend is the worse. But you get to hear all the late arrivals that are checking in. Since LH is a large boat city, and large boats people do bring, well they tow those all mostly with a FORD super duty, and of the diesel variety, so you get to hear after bedtime, FORD Super duty pickups rattling away at idle late at night, I imagine this would not be as loud if u were not as close to the office. Anyhow then the partying was going on late night just a few rooms down, so finally after about 2:00 am the noise was a little lower. I was still up watching a movie, so I went down to near the pool to get some ice from the ice machine, well when I walked down there I noticed near the back rooms of the hotel, where all the 'college kids' were staying, party central, there were 3 cop cars parked down there, they ended up bring some young guy to the office, I think he may have been arrested. Anyhow so it was after 2:30 am and finally things quited down, but I am guessing it would have been later if the cops hadn't arrived. So anyhow I was awoken later in the morning before 10am, by the loud noise of some of the college-age people riding around their crotch rocket motorcycles in the parking lot, speeding them up and such. Anyhow, if you want to bring your family to Lake Havasu this is not the place to stay. I would say the rooms aren't bad or a caliber of Super 8 or Motel 6, or Red Roof inn, not that bad old, but adequate, but not worth a price of $100 / night. But I will say if you are young and of college age or between the age of 18 - 30 and are single and no kids, well then this is the place you want to stay, it truly is 'Party Central' lots of people in that age group hangin-out. I can only compare it to a stay in Daytona Beach FL, during Spring Break! I ended up staying most of my second day in the hotel used the pool and then left Saturday without staying a second night, which I payed for, but I didn't care, I was outta there !!!! After the staff has gotten their breakfast they didn’t replenish very fast. There is no microwave to heat anything up such as the oatmeal they sometimes offer. The wireless internet signal was very weak-mostly unusable. Find a different place to stay. My husband booked this hotel before I could look at all the reviews. I did see 5 stars a couple times, so thought it was okay. This hotel is for partying college kids. What a dive! It looked like luggage had been thrown against the walls. It smelled funny. I felt uncomfortable getting between the sheets. Price was only $59 and we stayed just one night. We would not have stayed longer. This hotel was the worst place I have ever stayed at. The 1st night we were awakened at 2:00am by an alarm clock buzzing in the unoccupied room next door. It took 20 minutes to rouse the manager who seemed put out that we had bothered her. On our 3rd night we got a call from the front desk at 10:20 pm. The night clerk informed me that our room had just been rented out to someone else. Now, as background info, we had made our hotel reservation via an internet site (travelnow.com) and had made it in 2 separate reservations -one reservation for 2 days and another for 1 day. When we checked in this was explained to the clerk - we noted that we wanted the same room for 3 nights. When I explained this to the clerk she essentially said "tough luck" and said that I was responsible for stopping the new "guy" from trying to enter our room. I declined, stating that this was a situation for her, or management, to resolve. Next thing we knew, the door lock was activated and someone got part way in before the security bolt stopped his progress. This, needless to say, concerned and irritated my wife who called the desk and wanted further explanation. The clerk refused to talk to her and told her if she was irritated by it all, then she could simply call the police - which we immediately did. The police arrived and were met by us, the manager and the clerk. We were angry, the manager threatened to "throw us out" and the police threatened to toss me in jail. Meanwhile the manager (young woman) was laughing and touching the policeman's sleeve all the while implying that it was just another case of screwed up visitors making life difficult for the hospitality industry. Bottom line, use your security latch and don't open the door up to anybody you don't know. If there is only one good thing about your accomodation, let it be security. We ultimately demanded that the door lock be re-keyed before we went back inside our? room. Don't stay at this motel. Note the manager was a Monica M. Jackson. Highly disappointed with this property. I booked a room based on some research and reviews and was truly disappointed. The room was dark and it smelled..I can't even explain the smell really, it was very odd and it sure made my allergies act up. The carpet had a big hole in it and the room was not very clean. The AC was terribly noisy all the time. The front desk staff tried to accomidate us and showed us about 3 other rooms that weren't any better than the first, but for their efforts I would have to say that the service was good. The front desk staff was very nice and we ended up getting a refund and going down the road to a hotel that was 100 times nicer for not much more that what we were going to pay at the Havasu Inn. Unless you can stay at this property for a very cheap rate, or if you don't plan on spending much time in the room at all, I wouldn't recommend this hotel, there's much nicer properties around Havasu. We booked through Hotels another mistake, if you call the hotels directly you get a better deal. The Havasu Inn was below average, the staff was difficult. I would never stay here again. We stayed here one time too many. Our first and last stay here. There was minimal parking. The rooms were not cleaned very well. The staff were scarce and neglectful. This was a holiday weekend. The place was over-booked. The rooms were over occupied. The parking lot was full, cars and trucks with boats were everywhere. Forget the parking stalls, they were full and every inch of the asphalt and the dirt lot next to it. There was a security guard on duty. I do not know what he was there for as there was no order any where. Loud partying and drinking. Fights by the pool area. What a nightmare. Overpriced and management took advantage of it due to the Holiday rush. i come to lake havasu every 3 months . i in my life time have not come across a motel so neglected and disgusting that they should close this motel. bugs and the smell of mould. thinking abt it make me p_k. I recommend anyone not to stay here. i'm a travel agent and i know you would if u stay ther will write a article like this. Well stay there and i will see ur memo posted .
