Great Outdoor Pool here | Read all reviews
Stayed here for two nights whilst travelling between Grand Canyon and Los Angeles. Enjoyed the hotel which served very nice breakfast (free) and had a good outdoor pool (a very nice temperature in August). The hotel had a launderette which came in handy. Had one problem with the toilet which was fixed within 5 minutes at 11.30pm at night. Great Service!!

We just stayed one night on the way home from Arizona to San Diego. I wanted to see the bridge. We were able to check in early. Room was very nice, a view of the lake, refrigerator, coffee maker. We got a deck so had our afternoon cocktail outside which was fun. Our dog loved the deck too. Delicious breakfast, eggs, toast, bagels, cereal, sweet roll, something for everyone. A short drive (too hot to walk) to the bridge. The wireless in our room was a little slow but no complaints after a week of not being on the computer. Overall a very clean, beautiful room. I would recommend. There is even a short walk to a park behind the hotel which the dog loved. After a couple days without grass he was glad to have some to run around on. We stayed here for 2 nights in a lake view room which featured king bed and nice touches such as microwave, fridge and coffee maker. This was a sizable room which also overlooked the pool and spa which we found to be excellent. Check in was quick and friendly. Another nice touch is the managers reception in the lobby area where you could have 2 free drinks including alcohol. The free internet access in the business area is another plus, the general areas of the hotel were well kept and clean with nice decor. The hotel itself is convenient to London Bridge and various shops and restaurants. All in all a very nice stay in a very nice hotel. This is the most comfortable place we've stayed in Lake Havasu while visiting family, and we'll definitely be back. The rooms are very nicely appointed and comfortable - and have plenty of accessible electric outlets for charging the electronic gadgets of modern life! The free Internet and business center are wonderful when we have to bring work along. The free breakfast buffet was a pleasant surprise, with a hot dish choice and good coffee. We stayed in Lake Havasu City as part of our Complete North America 15 day fly drive tour. After a long drive from Grand Canyon via Sedona it was a good stopover enroute to LA. The 'city' itself is not so amazing, but the weather was great and we found a little beach and recreation area ideal for our 3 young children. The hotel is in a reasonable location, but you need a car to get around. We found the hotel to be excellent. It has a fantastic pool and spa which seems to be very new and in great condition with morning and evening sunshine and a good view of the Lake. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with lovely white linen, free internet access and good facilities. The breakfast was complimentary and pretty good, although you have to use polystyrene crockery and plastic cutlery - yuck. Overall I would definitely recommend this place. We stayed at this hotel from 7/6-7/9. I made the reservation online and went in with the printout. The checkin process was fast and we were given a room on the first floor. The room was clean and had a lot of space. We were near the pool area and even with the proximity to the pool, experienced no noise from the hallway. The people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful, as we had never been to the city before. They gave us directions to places when we needed them and dining suggestions. The breakfast in the morning was excellent - many selections both hot and cold. The hotel seems to be very well cared for and we would stay here again if we were to visit Lake Havasu again. The Hampton Inn was a great place to stay because the staff was very friendly, the hotel is very clean, and is very very quiet. We stayed in a king, non-smoking room on the 3rd floor. The room was large and had a fridge and microwave. Bathroom had four regular sized towels and plenty of wash cloths. The lobby is very inviting because of the leather furniture, fountains, stone and tile decor. The free breakfast was not your typical cereal, sweet roll, and coffee. On Sunday morning we had eggs, sausage, biscuts, cereal, fruit, juices, tea, and all kinds of coffee selections. A large enough seating area for guests to sit down and enjoy their breakfast without running to the room. We were pleasantly surprised. Our receipt was left under our door the day of check out. The pool is on the "smallish" side but this is a small hotel. However, from the pool area you have a good view of the lake. The hot tub was a good size maybe six or ten people could fit. Our only complaint was the parking lot. It really isn't designed for parking several boats and trucks but there is an empty lot next door. We didn't use the empty lot to park but the option is there if you need it. We drove less than a mile down the road to launch off of Windsor boat launch. If you are looking for action, night clubs, and walking around town this is not the place to stay because it is off the beaten path. If you are looking for relaxing, quiet and nice experience you have it at the Hampton. Staff was very friendly, rooms are large and immaculate and bed linens are wonderful. I would definitely stay here again. What a wonderful Hotel...we stayed in it on a sunday evening, and was delighted to see that they had a small flea market within walking distance. The hotel was spacious and clean as a pin...Very nice room! Would stay there again in a minute... Excellent place from the minute we walked in the door. Rooms were a nice size, very clean and it was nice to have a microwave and frig. The free breakfast was a plus and whoever had a problem with bugs must have brought them with them because there was no evidence of anything of the kind. We didn't use the pool but it looked nice and clean. Good location too! The Hampton Inn exceeded my expectations. Our standard room was an excellent size, and the beds were much more comfortable than I had expected. The entire hotel was well maintained, and the staff was very kind and helpful. I was surprised to have a fridge in our room at no additional cost, and we were also given a free breakfast that truely came in handy. Our room was elegant. The rate was definately within budget. This hotel is centerally located near all of the action in town. I was a bit disappointed that the pool was closed due to reconstruction, but the hotel is right on the river and it is only a short walking distance. I didn't see any signs of water bugs. I think they were brought in by the last person who left a comment. And if havasu doesn't have character, it's probabaly because you don't have a boat and you are too old to party. Believe me, I didn't see any signs for bingo. Anyhow, I would definately stay here again! We went to Lake Havasu the end of April for a long weekend and originally booked a room at the Ramada. We got there late on Friday, checked in and went to our room. Upon first glance it looked like a pay by the hour hotel, but we figured we'd stick it out. I went in to check out the bathroom though and there were roaches everywhere! We immediately checked out and called the Hampton. They had a couple of rooms left and were extremely accomodating. The hotel is immaculate, the breakfast is great, it was very quiet even though we were on the parking lot side and the bed was really comfortable (and I'm picky!) I would highly recommend this property and am overall impressed with the Hampton chain. A word about the Lake....we rented a boat for the day with the intent of skiing. It is impossible to ski at Havasu unless you are there in the dead of winter or can ski in 3 foot swells. The weather was nice, the water was freezing and there were a ton of boats out. My recommendation would be to find a nice quiet cove and anchor for the afternoon because we spent most of the day driving around to different sites that we immediately left again. By the time we found some place to anchor, we were all a little sea sick and tired of driving in the boat! Just got back from 3 nights at the Hampton Inn. It is under renovation. It was great. Everything was new and fresh. Was quiet even during construction. Had a nice breakfast too! highly reccomend. Big rooms with frig and micro, hairdryer and coffemaker. freindly staff. You can walk to the beach on a trail behind the hotel. They have alot of discount rates. We were travelling from Flagstaff Arizona to Anaheim in California so we had selected Lake Havasu City to stop off for one night only, to break up our journey. We selected the Hampton Inn based on its fairly good reviews in Tripadvisor. I have to say we were happy with what we found , the rooms were fine and my son enjoyed the swimming pool that evening . The temperature was around 105 oF in Lake Havasu when we arrived , however the following morning temperatures dropped dramatically as rain arrived and this gave us a difficult journey over a mountainous region into California. There was a free breakfast at the Hampton Inn , however it was very busy and I probably would have preferred to go out and pay for a cooked breakfast. I must also add that the staff at the front desk were very pleasant and efficient and I was happy with my first ever stay in a Hampton Inn. As a European we travveled through the south-west of the united states in the summer of 2008. On our way to the Grand Canyon we stayed one night in this lovelly hotel. The Hampton inn was the nicest place we got in our 3 weeks during trip. the staff was very friendly and helpfull (they helped us with our reservation for Alcatraz , San Fransisco-we had to make the reservation 14 days in advance), the breakfast was included (hot and continental breakfast), the rooms were large and clean. Also a bonus: they have a computerroom with two computers where you can use the internet en a lare fitnissroom with several gear. I didn't like the pool because, although clean, the water was way to hot (and the climate in Lake Havasu is already extreme) and it was a 15 minues walk to the bridge. We had dinner at Mario's . If you like original Italian food (they don't serve pizaa's) is a great place, not too expensive and tastful and it is just a two minues walk from the hotel. Overall, it was a nice experience to stay at this place and I would certainely come back. We were pleased with the staff's friendliness and location of the Hampton. We had reservations at the former Best Western Lake View (what a nightmare!) and had left without checking in there. (see separate review). A nice kid at the local Red Robin recommended the Hampton Inn by the lake. The woman at the desk at the Hampton was very helpful. We were a walk-in and were given a lake-view balcony 2 queen room for $132 ($50 cheaper than the horror we just left). This also included a very nice free breakfast (eggs, sausage, fresh fruit, bagels, rolls, yogurt, oatmeal, on and on). We enjoyed the pool (it was 120 that day, and only 100 at 10 pm!). The only complaint would be the AC unit is right next to one of the beds - quite a draft. The bathroom was large, granite shower & counter. Linens & bedding very nice (pillow tops). Altho we didn't use this, there is a boat landing & parking. I stayed here Fri & Sat night in early March. The hotel is clean and well cared for, very typical of the Hampton Inn Brand. It is located close to London Bridge, and central to a lot of the city and the waterfront (though it is not on the waterfront). The property seemed safe. The staff was competent and friendly, though I did not need them except for check-in and out. The king bed was very comfortable, and I really liked that they have adopted the new style of bedding where everything you touch has been laundered. The rest of the room was up to date and in good working order: bathroom, fridge, and microwave, and a good selection of TV channels. I did not use the internet access. Maid service was very good. The breakfast buffet was also good, with plenty of cold or toastable selections, and one hot dish each day (bagel with egg, bacon, and cheese one day; sausage and eggs the next). I did not have any problems with noisy neighbors, but the room's air conditioner was quite loud, even on the low setting. I suspect this is because Lake Havasu City is over 110 deg F every day in the summer, and they need a powerful AC system. But still, the constant drone of the AC is better than loud people next door, so it was really quite a good stay. We stayed one night whilst visiting London Bridge. The area around the hotel is pretty drab but we found the hotel itself OK. Main plus points:- 1. Fridge, coffee maker and microwave in room. 2. Good standard of decoration throughout. 3. Good standard of breakfast, with plenty of hot/cold options. 4. We ate at a good local restaurant - Cha Bonez (near to hotel) which specialises in ribs. Main minus points:- 1. We were unlucky enough to have an air-conditioning unit outside our room which was so noisy!! 2. Whoever sold the hotel the carpeting in the hall and stairways (it was SO dreary........) should be shot at dawn! We stayed here for 1 night on route to the Grand Canyon. As it was not that expensive I did not have high expectations but the rooms were large and clean. The hotel itself is clean throughout and the staff were very helpful on check in and suggesting places to get dinner and breakfast. There is also a manger's reception in the evening where you can have 2 free drinks alcoholic or soft whichever is your preference which is a nice touch. If you are looking for a nice reasonably priced hotel this is the one for you. We had a nice room and lovely breakfast choices. The staff made our puppy feel at home and the beds were GREAT! Best hotel we stayed in out of 3 on this trip! A large hotel with well equipped rooms, fridge/microwave etc. Wired ethernet internet and a cool bed tray with a padded base, you need a code from the front desk. Parking is a bit cramped in front of the hotel and I didn't trust the further parking round the sides which was lit with alternate pools of darkness. Every cable channel was listed, G4 is a sign you have all of them inclduing the Bible ones. It's near the bridge which looked nice, the surrounding stuff like the fake london bus was all smashed up, there were also lots of london pigeons. It's a short 2 minute unsignposted walk to the rocky beach and there are picnic /day use tables for free. Just walk towards the water in the near distance, you are probably meant to pay a park fee or something. During Spring Break watch out for the local wildlife including drunk jetskiier. Staff were very friendly, the Maid wanted to clean my room when I got back from swimming, she was quite matronly and propped the door open to begin vacumming ignoring the do not disturb signs and ignoring my mumbled protests. Letting her get on with it she did a good job working around me, I think I must have overtipped the day before. All in all, a nice place if a bit expensive. We (me, wife and adult daughter) stayed here one night in mid-Sept. Our room had a 200 number (UK first floor, US 2nd floor !!) looking out to the Lake. A nice big room, well decorated and furnished and very clean. There wasn't a bug to be seen in the hotel. An added bonus was a fridge and microwave. Generous sized bathroom with plenty of fluffy towels, soap and shampoo. The breakfast room is very big with lots of tables and chairs, and offers a big selection of stuff. The pool looked good, but we didn't use it. Staff at check-in and check-out were okay, but we didn't talk to any others during our stay. It is a bit of a walk (about 10 mins) to the London Bridge. The street/sidewalk appears to be quite new and is in good condition, but passes through a lot of undeveloped land. At night the street lighting is very poor indeed. As we walked 'home' we saw several strange big bugs on the sidewalk ahead of us in the headlights of passing cars...!! Very Creepy. Should have took the car, but there's not much parking near the Bridge. Overall we found the town disappointing. Once London Bridge has been seen, photographed and explored that's about it! It is probably a fine place if you have a boat or nautical interests, but for us 'land-lubbers' it seemed pretty quiet at night. We would stay in this Hampton Inn again, but only if it was in another city. uncletony and family This hotel is one of the nicest in Lake Havasu, but as others indicated, that's not saying much. The hotel does come with a free breakfast and had nice size rooms. The bed was a little soft for us though, and the in-room A/C unit is really noisy. It was way overpriced for the accommodations and the area. We spent two nights at this Hampton Inn during the Thanksgiving weekend. The breakfast buffet served in the lounge was adequate with a different "main event" each morning - French toast one morning and fried eggs (over hard) the next. The hotel rooms do not have wireless but the high speed internet worked well and came in handy researching restaurants since this was our first visit to LHC. The lounge was dimly lit each evening with coffee and hot water; we relaxed with privacy in front of the large flat screen TV while sipping hot chocolate. The bar in the back of the lounge was closed during our stay. Our king room on the second floor overlooked the pool and spa with subtle views of Lake Havasu. The front desk staff was transparent. We did not request housekeeping since we only spent two nights at the hotel. I used the spa the morning before checkout. The water was clean and the temperature was good and hot but the water jets did not seem to create much turbulence and the pump equipment made a lot of noise. The spa had also been overfilled and was overflowing! We did not use the exercise room but the business center was helpful the morning we checked out since we had already packed up our computer after realizing we needed the internet to look up an address. An episode of the MTV Made series was being filmed in the lobby the evening we checked in. We saw a beautiful roadrunner out in the parking lot during the day. The hotel is within walking distance to the mainland side of beautiful London Bridge and the defunct English Village. The bridge was elegantly decorated with lit trees and wreathes for the holidays and the one million lights in English Village made for a pleasant evening walk along the channel. The king bed room cost $134/night for a lake view weekend rate. I also earned a bunch of Hilton Honors bonus points for booking on line and paying with my Hilton Honors American Express Card. The hotel is ugly from the outside but clean inside and out; apparently this hotel used to be a Holiday Inn. The weather was perfect (in the mid 60s) with very little people and traffic. Dinner at Barley Brothers Brewery and lunch at Juicy’s River Café (not on the river) were great. We only stayed one night on our way to Mesa. One night is all I would stay. The room had 2 very comfortable queen beds but the room was small. There were 3 of us and we kept bumping into each other. The room had a balcony, beautiful view of the lake. The windows did not open and the balcony door had no screen on it. It was pleasant enough weather to leave a window open all night, but with no screendoor, the bugs were to much. The hotel is older and is in much need of repairs. It is convenient to all local attractions via a car. The hotel was nice enough for one night. I would definately recommend eating at the London Bridge Resort restaraunt and bar, Martini Bay. They have a great dinner selection and spirits. I stayed for 1 night, July 23rd. I was put on the 4th floor, the smoke floor in a non-smoking room cuz I had a pet. The whole floor smelled of bad smoke and it was also in my room. The carpet had a foul odor too. Only good thing was the view of Lake (Colorado River) from my room. hotel tres confort, propre, accueil sympa, belle vue lointaine sur le colorado, petit dej inclu chambre tres bien

We stayed here as a one night stop off on our way from OR to AZ. The property, in general, is well kept. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. There are lots of restaurants near the hotel. The room had two queen beds that were the standard Hampton Inn beds - a bit too hard for this side-sleeper, but most hotel beds at this price point are. I snagged the extra blanket from the closet so I could fold the comforter up and tuck it under myself for extra padding - it was lumpy, but better than without. I was disappointed with the shower - it was a standard Waterpic that just didn't have enough settings or pressure to give a great shower. The towels and paper products were decent (not too hard and scratchy or skimpy). The TV volume kept dropping out (I find this a lot in hotels for some reason). The A/C was a window style unit that is hard to control and is pretty loud, but it was working and helped to block any corridor noise. It ends up being a little breezy for the person sleeping closest to the window. I appreciated the fact that the in-room fridge had a small freezer compartment that kept my blue-ice mostly frozen. The breakfast area was large and well stocked. The free wireless worked well both in our room and in the lobby. We stayed at the Hampton Inn at Lake Havasu for 1 night when traveling from the Grand Canyon to Palm Springs. We were at room 231, that room is just above the main airco units, that kept us from sleeping all night! At the pool there were no clean towels available. That was reported at the reception, but 30 minutes later the towels had not arrived. The complimentary breakfast served in the morning was O.K. This is your typical Hampton Inn. The rate was very expensive over the weekend. The staff was friendly, but didn't know alot about where to go jogging, what to do if you don't use speed boats ect. The buffet is average. If you don't get a lake side room, your view is of the beautiful parking lot. This is a very noise hotel, partying, loud boat motors, people coming and going. The town is not easy to walk in, but you can walk to the London Bridge and the shop area...it is real run down, not worth the time. With all that said it probably the best LHC has to offer. OK let's start with the positives. The pool was nice and the free internet access in the business centre was very useful. The negatives, well when we got there we found our room had a view of the road rather than the lake so I ask if it was possible to change, the receptionist said no as they were fully booked. When walking through the lobbey later however someone arrived and asked for a room and was offered the choice of lake view or standard room. Clearly the receptionist did not want to help us. Although the pool was nice the spa did not work. There was a cricket in our room that took some finding to shut up that kept us awake. If you have to stay in Havasu (although a passing visit would do) do not stay here. We stayed here 1 night before driving to San Diego. Hotel nice and well looked after and the rooms are a decent size with plenty of facilities. We were annoyed that the pool was closed and we did not know until we turned up. There seems to be a problem with water roaches and bugs as the hotels are near the lake. The staff are helpful and allowed us to move to an upstairs room which I would reccomend if you don't like bugs! The breakfast was excellant with lots of choice. There is a good chinese buffet round the corner for an evening meal. Bit dissappointed by this town as it lacked character.
