Stadt Bremen Garni

Our biggest disappointment with the Stadt Bremen was the lack of parking. We picked this hotel because their website advertised parking. Once we arrived, there were no spots left in their parking garage and we had to pay for parking on the street (every two hours during the day). The hotel is in a good location for walking around Bremen and along the Weser river. The location was a little noisy at night when you are trying to sleep. There are lots of steps and no elevator in the hotel. The breakfast room is quite elegant. There was no fan or A/C in the room. The bathroom was extremely spacious and included a hairdryer.

Large, clean, comfortable rooms; good breakfast; friendly staff; reasonable price; recommended.

I stayed with my two friends in this hotel last March for four nights. We had booked a triple which had two separate rooms which was convenient. The other was with a single bed and the other bigger one with a double bed. The bigger room had a television and a small sofa with a table. The bathroom was also clean, nice and spacious. The bed was little bit hard and the pillows were not that comfortable. In all good, clean and basic room.

I contacted the hotel directly and got a quick response. If you pay your hotel room in cash, you get 10% discount. The breakfast was included in the room price and it was ok but basic. The location of the hotel is excellent and everything is within walking distance.

The hotel had a friendly staff (most spoke English). Only minus was that we got the room quite late around 2-3 pm and our flight came early but there were nice cafes near the hotel and lots of things to do and see. When you book a room make sure that the room is not at the direction of the main entrance because there is a quite noisy bar opposite the hotel. I was very satisfied with this hotel and will return again. The price and quality of the hotel were in accordance.
