Ramada Tampa

I always read the reviews & check out the pics from this site. I honestly thought this place would be okay. But it was better than okay. For the price that I paid (I had 2 rooms) it was definitely worth the stay. I had a King bed room and a 2 double bed room. The rooms were clean and neat. The kids enjoyed the pool. We definitely enjoyed the 24hr IHOP which is right next door. It is right off of I-75 and in a cute lil' neighborhood. This hotel will be a repeat when we visit Tampa again which will be later on this year. We went to Busch Gardens/Adventure Island which was like...5 minutes away. The continental breakfast was great, not cheap - which when you hear off 'free' you don't expect much, but it was great. The staff was delightful & very helpful. I had a concern because we were going to Busch Gardens the day we checked in which meant leaving the park to check in. I called up and was told 1 room would be ready and suggested checking into the first room and setting it up so that when we came in from the park I wouldn't have to wait, just get my keys to the other room. It was a very pleasant stay. If you like to shop for bargains, the University Mall is in the same neighborhood.

Great place to relax & comfortable rooms! The Pool was refreshing! Free Continental breakfast was great! I would stay there again!

This hotel is about 10 minutes from Busch Gardens. It was a clean, friendly, and overall, a very nice hotel. Great pool and complimentary breakfast as well. We would definitely come back and stay again !!

Quiet, clean, well maintained, very easy acess. I would recommend to anyone who's looking for an affordable and comfortable hotel. Just 5 minutes from Bush Gardens with an IHOP restaurant at the property!

We stayed in the Ramada for one night as a 'stop over' on our drive down to Naples.

The room was clean and of an acceptable standard.

Reception were friendly and helpful and the free breakfast was sufficient for our needs.

We would have no hesitation to stay there again, however it would probably be under the same circumstances and not as a main base.

A very nice clean/ safe hotel. Price was not too bad for the quality. The rooms are nice and clean and the front desk is very helpful. Even the free breakfast is great. It is a hop skip and jump from a bunch of restaurants and Busch Gardens is right down the street. Quiet, safe, clean pool, great for families or anyone looking for a nice lodging. B+

This place is exactly what you would expect for the price. Ok room, no problems.

The bed linens and bathroom looked clean but there was black mold on the wall and the carpet looked like it had been wet. There was a musty smell to the room.

My husband spoke to the manager, who said he understood, didn't try to move us to another room and no hassle.

We left and went to the Fairfield Inn (on Morris Bridge Road).

Even though the rates are higher, we were more comfortable there.

We had reservations to stay here for 4 days. First night here, our room was in the middle of the first row of rooms. There were about 16 parking spaces in that row. A moving truck about 24ft long comes to the hotel to stay and proceeds to park across all the parking spaces in front of our room so he could have convenience to his truck. They were 3 of the moving company employees, all men, in the truck. We had gone to dinner in our vehicle and had lost our parking space to the truck who had taken up all 16 of the spaces by parking the truck longways across the spaces. We asked the front desk if this could be addressed as my husband was handicapped and we had no close access to our room from our vehicle. The manager had told them they could park like that the clerk said. My husband then asked the moving company if they could move the truck and park properly. They started cursing us and being threatening because they did not want to move their truck. We called the police and they made them move the truck. The hotel was no help what so ever but we left that same night after being threatened by the moving co employees as we were afraid to stay there. We disputed our credit card and did not have to pay but hotel did nothing for us. I would never stay there again.

At the check in desk, they told us the wrong rate for the room. At the next day we complained about that, but the manager was't interested. The room was clean but smelled of chlorine. The breakfast area is too small. Don't stay in this hotel !!!
