DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. The staff are the rudest people I've ever come in contact with in my life. We arrived in the evening, we had 4 people in our party and stayed in a 4 person suite, we had ONE pillow in our room, when we asked at the front desk for more pillows we were told housekeeping was closed leave them a note in the morning. When we insisted we needed 3 more pillows, he handed us TWO towels and said to use them. We were gone all the next day and arrived back at the hotel in the evening, our room wasn't cleaned and there were no pillows. Back at the front desk he told me they clean the rooms once a week (we paid 200.00 a night) but if I was "Special" he could have someone clean my room and he would charge me for it. I asked him why was I supposed to leave a note in my room for pillows if he knew housekeeping wasn't even going to clean my room. He had no answer and was very rude when we had to ask for clean towels. They never cleaned our room the whole time we were there we had dirty towels and overflowing trash cans. DO NOT STAY HERE

This hotel is in the wonderfull area of Bercy. At first glance it looks to be full of office workers but once you explore it becomes the best place in Paris to stay. It has Bercy Village which is a street full of little shops and lovely restuarants. Beyond this is the most amazing park. It has lovely walkways through ponds and streams with Ducks, Herons and even Terrapins. It still has a garden full with grapes which i belive they still make some wine in the village. If you venture a little out of the village there is the omnisports which has top class concerts and sporting events. There are a nice choice of resturants and bars along this Rue which are a little cheaper than Bercy Village. The Metro is so close to the hotel and i would definatley suggest getting a weekly pass. This cost us 60 euro for 4 people for the week, bargain. The hotel is top class, not only for the brilliant location but for what you get for your money. The rooms are a wonderfull size concidering you are in a major city. We stayed in a 4 bed which had a seperate room with a double bed and 2 sofa beds in the living room. We had a kitchen with all the mod cons. Note the coffee machine does not have any coffee, filters or sugar so i would bring these with you. The bath room has a bath with a shower and a nice sized sink. We had a sepereate toillet which was perfect the amount of us staying in the room. As this is an appartment not a proper hotel the room is only serviced once a week so you may run out of things like toilet rolls. The only thing bad about this hotel was there was not air conditioning and Paris does get rather hot. All in all this was a lovely place to stay and i am sure we will be back soon. We were a little worried about finding good affordable acomodation in Paris and had heard some dreadful reports prior to leaving. However i must say we were very pleased with our choice. The twin room was a decent size, the bathroom you could move in and it had a great kitchenette, with a miocrowave, fridge dishwasher etc. Its in a good quiet location and its only a 5 minute walk to the nearest underground metro station, and also the great resteraunts at the Bercy Village. I would definatley return to this hotel if i ever visit Paris again. We booked a week at this hotel through Interval International (our timeshare property management company). We had a one bedroom that slept 4 people comfortably with a small kitchen. The toilet is separate from the bathroom, which was very convenient since four of us were all sharing one bathroom. It is slightly outside of Paris proper so you will need a metro pass but the metro is a short walk away and runs regularly. It is a quick 5 to 10 minute ride from the center of Paris. Bercy Village was lovely to walk through and had many choices for cafes, shopping, even a movie theater. Bercy Park was also very nice to stroll through. The younger staff was extremely helpful but the older staff was less inclined to help us out with our lack of speaking French. The only downside was that the room was never cleaned and our towels were not replaced. We had to keep going downstairs to the desk for toilet paper (a full roll was never quite a full roll). We would definitely stay here again. We just returned from a six-night stay in Paris with a group of thirty. Uniformly the members of the group found the Pierre & Vacances hotel at Bercy to be well above average. The rooms have well-stocked efficiency kitchens, are more spacious than the typical European hotel room, and were quite comfortable. The staff were very efficient in keeping the rooms well-cleaned. The location is a little bit out of the central area (thus only 4 stars as opposed to 5), but the neighborhood has a supermarket and plenty of restaurants/cafes within a five-minute walk. The area around the hotel was quet. The only complaint anyone had about the hotel was that each room does not have hair-dryers, but you can check them out at the front desk (if they do not run out). I would recommend this hotel to travelers who plan to stay in Paris for any extended period. I stayed at this hotel in March 2007. The location is not central, but there is a subway station about 150-200 metres from the hotel, located near Bercy Village. The hotel was clean and modern, rooms reasonably sized, contained a full kitchen. Hotel staff were helpful. The subway ride into central Paris took no more than 15 minutes in peak hour time. Would stay there again.

Hotel rooms are very very small ,beds are all fold away and very small for 2. the 2nd bed is a narrow sofa bed too narrow for the 2 places counted in room capacity . When main bed is out, almost no floor space is left. The main bed mattress is the thinest I have ever seen and so uncomfortable, sleep is on the wooden struts. The is no resturant although a high priced low quality ,cold, breakfast can be purchased for about $15.00. Laundry charges are very very high, typically 5 days for me cost 100 euros, without any dry clean. The room is cleaned only once per week and towels (tiny)and linen are only changed then, any hygene materials needed you will have to get yourself between cleanings. TV very often out of order (main system), and often remained that way for days on end, i.e. 6th Dec lost, 12th Dec planned visit by eng', and this is the third time in 2 weeks. There are cheaper better places than this try the hotels to the rear and opposite this one. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. The staff are the rudest people I've ever come in contact with in my life.
