Fairly decent, price was right, pet friendly! | Read all reviews
My husband and I stayed at the Extended StayAmerica while he was working in Tampa for several months. His company reimbursed him to stay in a "Queen Suite", but it was somewhat small and confining for the two of us, so we decided to pay the additional $10 out-of-pocket for a "King Suite", which was well worth the extra money. The "King Suites" offer a good 300 square feet of living space and this extended stay offers the larges suites of any similar facility in the area--I checked all of them! (Tip: The handicap "Queen Suites" are the same size as the "King Suites", minus the $10 fee). There was an additional "pet fee" of $25 per night, for a maximum of $50 for the entire stay--far cheaper than other hotels in the area, and also well worth the comfort of not having to leave our cat behind for such an extended period of time! Our suite was clean and comfortable--although somewhat dated. They were in the process of renovating all the suites, and we snuck in a few of the rooms while they were working on them and the new decor was quite nice, with hardwood flooring in the kitchen area, and nice new beds, recliners in the queen suites, and couches in the kings. The renovation should be complete as of this writing. The suites all feature a full size refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, 2 burner stove, toaster, microwave, table with 2 chairs, and desk. There is also dishes, cups, glasses, and utensils for 2, but you can ask for more at the front desk. There was cable TV, but only 10 channels, which I understand they are expanding. For extended stays, housekeeping cleans once weekly, with twice weekly linen changes, although you can always change towels and get coffee, soap, and other sundries at any time. Washing machines cost $1.00 per load, .75 for dryers, and there is a machine that dispenses soap--but it's somewhat expensive, better to bring your own. We found the staff friendly and helpful. ousekeeping was especially wonderful--and we showed our appreciation by tipping them well! The free continental breakfast was OK, nothing special, but sufficient, with minimuffins, pastries, bagels, cereal, oatmeal, toast, coffee, tea, milk, and juices. Overall, we were well satisfied with our stay.

We have stayed at this particular hotel at least 6 separate times, and we've always been pleased. Although they don't have a restaurant or pool, the rooms/suites and value easily make up for the missing amenities. The rooms are always clean, the beds comfortable and firm, and the bathrooms large, well lighted, and very clean. When staying for 7 nights or more, the hotel costs less than many lesser-quality motels. Also, we can't say enough about the friendly and efficient staff. We would definitely highly recommend this hotel to any one, especially those who don't use a pool and don't need a maid to make their bed every day. I was a little apprehensive about this hotel since there was only one reveiw at the time I booked . The price was great compared to anything nearby so I figured I would give it a shot. I thought the place was very nice. There are dishes and a full size refrigerator so for a longer stay its nice. Also a microwave and stovetop for cooking. The website I booked on said a pool but there is No pool. So if you are going for pleasure this is not the place for you. If you are on business and have a longer stay go for it. After about a week the bed got really uncomfortable so I would not recommend staying longer than that. Also bring your own pillow I did and my boyfriend regretted not bringing his. I have some photos check them out, you can get an idea of the rooms. Drawback- They dont clean the room everyday. And if you use the dishes you need to bring something to clean them with.
