Excellent suite! Exceeded expectations. | Read all reviews
Check- in was quick. The staff were probably the nicest check-in employees we have ever met, and we travel a lot! The rooms were immaculate. We had a king sized bed in the bedroom, a double sized pull out sofa bed, and a dining area with a table and four chairs. It was perfect for a family of four. The room was non-smoking, and it was odour-free. I hate hotel rooms that smell musty, or have a carpet smell to them. There was no smell at all. It was the cleanest room we have ever seen. We've stayed in four and five star hotels regularly. We were worried about going to this 3 star suite. We were very pleasantly surprised and will definitely return, the next time we visit Montreal. Parking was free! Unheard of in downtown Montreal.

after staying at the nearby holiday inn for two nights, I decided to move to the quality suites. wow, what a difference! the suites is large with the sitting room similar in size as the bedroom. the bathroom is extremely clean, and you get shampoo and conditioner separately. the bed is very comfortable. I went for the king bed, and there five pillows! free internet access and free breakfast, all for the price I paid at the holiday inn. In addition, the highway noise is much much lower than in the holiday inn, the AC is much better quality with much lower noise. got a great night of sleep. their free airport shuttle starts at 5:15am. I missed the breakfast though since that only starts at 6. I will definitely stay here again. Much better than the airport Hilton (much cheaper, as much as 60% if you include the internet and breakfast, cleaner, larger). highly recommended. 15 minutes to the airport A really nice hotel! A little far from downtown, but the suites are lovely and ideal for family. It's also close to a major shopping center and several restaurants. We had 2 double beds (separate room) + a sofa-bed in the living room; really great when you travel with 2 kids. Even if we are close from a large highway, I couldn't hear the usual highway noise. The restaurant-bar at the hotel was OK, but you can find better restaurants north of the hotel on St-Jean boulevard. Staff was nice and helpfull. It was our first time in Montreal and we were visiting relatives. We stayed at this hotel and I must say the suites are really nice, affordable and clean. The staff was great and extremely friendly. The restaurant dowstairs I believe it was the "Nickels" has a good service as well. I recommend it to all if you're going on a business trip or simply going for a visit! We booked this hotel through the chain's toll-free number and we booked the room because the hotel is pet-friendly. We had a great room at a great price. King size bed, large room and no problem taking our quiet and friendly dog in and out of the hotel. The staff were pleasant and helpful and the room service was excellent. Check- in was quick. Parking was free! Unheard of in downtown Montreal. Stayed here for 2 nights in July 2005 and was very impressed with this hotel. The room itself was pretty pretty spacious, with the bedroom area separated from the living room by nice french doors. There is a little fridge to use inside the room, as well as a nice dining room table if you prefer to eat in. The level of cleanliness was outstanding and the front desk staff was very friendly and professional. I would like to thank the Quality Suites Montreal for a very enjoyable stay and look forward to staying again in the future! I have stayed here twice and both times, the staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. The rooms (suites) are clean and well-kept, there's a free continental breakfast and you can't beat it for the price. As the previous rater stated, its only 15 minutes from downtown Montreal and all the sights. I'll definitely stay here every time I'm in the area. For the same price as a tiny room in a downtown hotel (not including the parking), the Quality Suites Pointe Claire offers huge suites, free parking, and it is only 15 minutes from downtown. Stayed 2 nights for an event in the city. Lots of construction, a little confusing to get to. Rooms are nice and clean, very large with separate bedroom (king bed) and sitting area (queen sofa bed). Little noise from the highway. Free internet in the room. If you don't have a laptop, they have a computer in the lobby for a small fee. Ate breakfast at Nickels, it was okay. Didn't eat dinner here, but heard the Fajitas were good from other people. We had breakfast on our last day at Cora's in the plaza next door. Reception staff was good. We arrived late at this hotel on the beginning of our trip to Canada this year, for an overnight stay in between our arrival from France and our connection to Moncton. Our experience was very good, from the welcome by the staff (incl. late dinner) to the following morning. The only drawback is that this hotel does not have its own shuttle to the airport. The one advertised on the hotel website is actually operated by nearby Holiday Inn, and the driver was certainly not very nice in the evening upon our arrival and he was late in the morning going back to the airport. I arrived at the hotel and was very pleased with the hotel's lobby, restaurant, and exercise room. The room was very clean and recently redone. The hotel seems to be kept in excellent shape. When I had trouble with my hairdryer, the maintenance guy came within minutes of my call and changed the unit. He was clean looking, and very professional. Not bad service for a Saturday morning! We had booked the Holiday Inn at the airport. See my one star review and so we scrambled to find another room. We have never stayed at this chain and found it to be a pleasant surprise and we were relieved to find something this nice on such short notice. The room was a nice large suite, very nice layout with a sofa bed in the living room and a king bed in the bedroom. There was access to the bathroom from the living room or the bedroom. There were two TV's, one in the living room and one in the bedroom. The room had a sit down vanity area alcove in the bedroom next to the bathroom that was wonderful for putting on makeup. The dining area accommodated a full size table and both the living/dining room and bedroom had a wall of windows with very nice drapes. The sofa and chair appeared to be new. The cleanliness of the room was very good. My husband travels a lot on business and he said he would be looking for more of this chain. There was free internet access . We had stayed in a 5 star Hotel in downtown Montréal on this trip that did not have free room internet access. A very good value. Super hotel... Stayed for one night to do some shopping on the weekend. Suites are fairly big and clean. Very nice bathroom. Couldn't hear the highway noise but the noise level between rooms wasn't so great. Could hear a baby crying in the room across the hall and conversations in the room next door so made it hard to get to sleep. Staff ok, not overly friendly. Don't eat at Nickels unless you don't feel like going out because it's not worth the price. Supper staff not attentive or friendly. Fries were chewy and cold. Took them off our bill though, so that was nice. Breakfast staff way friendlier and more attentive, but food no better. Go to Cora's around the corner from the hotel, pricey but well worth it! Stayed at Hampton Inn down the highway a few months ago and was abit more expensive, but way nicer. Includes free hot/cold breakfast too! Rooms were very clean and very big. The only complaint I have is that the noise level was pretty loud and when I expressed my concern in the morning, I was greeted with complete apathy. Just an apology would have satisfied me. If you get a chance to eat downstairs at the restaurant, go for it. They had very good fajitas. All in all, it was a good stay.
