5 of 5  Great for late fall or winter., A TripAdvisor Member, Northern Nevada, September 9, 2006

Try to stay here once a year. The service has always been good, even when the place is completely full. Staff has been very accomidating to upgrades on rooms when they are available. We have brought guests with us on vacation and they have now made the London Bridge Resort a vacation habit.

5 of 5  Had a great time, A TripAdvisor Member, So. Cal., June 10, 2008

Went there for a bachelor party, had 2 two-room suites with the rooftop balconies, which were great for partying. From the beginning (calling for information and reservations) the desk clerks were very nice and helpful and that continued throughout the stay, putting up with us without a problem.

I can't really comment on the cleanliness or furniture or beds or anything like that because it was all fine as far as we were concerned, typical hotel stuff. No bad experiences there. We drove there in a RV and they let us park it in their parking lot (not allowed to sleep in it though).

Kokomos was pretty dead on Friday night but Saturday picked up some, still not as crazy as during spring break or other times I heard. The bar at Martini Bay was a nice alternative with a little bit older crowd but more relaxed. It was fun to go back and forth throughout the night (closing time 2am).

Also ate dinner on the patio at Martini Bay and everyone agreed the food and service was excellent, all very friendly. There are also a lot of restaurants and fast food places and even a supermarket and Starbucks all within walking distance.

Overall, we were there for fun and we had a great time. The hotel was very accomodating and seemed happy to have us there. In the same situation I would definitely go back there again.

5 of 5  Love the Resort, A TripAdvisor Member, Arizona, December 19, 2007

London Bridge Resort has the ultimate location. I travel for business and it the perfect place to stay. The Resort has a small business center with a secured connection and also has free wifi. The staff is great and helpful. Dottie in the Market is wonderful. The rooms are perfect for me and I really like the patio and Jacuzzi. In December the Resort is all lit up with thousands of lights. It is a really neat place to be.

5 of 5  Great time!!!!!!!!!!, A TripAdvisor Member, San Marcos, August 11, 2007

This was our best year in Lake Havasu yet!! The rooms are nice, as we have always found them; this is our second year staying here. Resort staff was friendly and helpful. There is a small cardio workout area and a business center with 2 computers and printer, there was also wifi. Boat docks were in good shape they are locked at night with lighting and I was able to reserve one for the week again this year. All the popular restaurants are located down the street (a short walk) and the movie theater was there also. We avoid spring break and above the night club, which is most likely why we have a great time. The weekend are busy and the weekdays a very slow paced and quite in town and on the lake/channel. It's a great place if you enjoy the water, if you don't have a boat you can always rent one. We rented the one bedroom deluxe with Spa tub for two one bedroom with king bed and separate living room with pull out queen sleeper, the rooms have kitchenettes.

5 of 5  Great Vacation, A TripAdvisor Member, NEW YORK, June 22, 2007

Great resort. I was able to moore my boat right at the resort. The room was very nice. My family and I had a pleasant stay. The activities department scored an A+ with our kids 11 & 14. The staff was very friendly and went above and beyond, Thanks for the Limo ride.

5 of 5  Love the London Bridge, A TripAdvisor Member, ca., February 4, 2004

We've stayed at the London Bridge resort a couple of times. We LOVE it.

The location is perfect, with 2 pools right on the lake. The kids had a blast in the kids club, with gave us adults a break to hang out in the bar for" happy hour" or play pool. We found the rooms very spacious and clean with all the kitchen facilities you could want. The only thing I would caution people about is if you want peace and quiet, make sure your room is not located directly above the nightclub !! It is within walking distance of some great family restaurants and the "English" village.

5 of 5  Great Place to Stay, A TripAdvisor Member, Daytona Beach, FL, December 26, 2003

The London Bridge Resort was an awesome place to stay. Everytime we visit family in Lake Havasu we have a great time staying at the Resort.

It is very conveniently located and has the best amenties in town. The staff is always helpful and make my stay more pleasurable.

4 of 5  Great Location, A TripAdvisor Member, Hertfordshire, uk, September 21, 2008

Great location on the river and rates reasonable. Stayed here for 1 night in August. Pools were great, 1bedroom suite was fine facing side of hotel so was quiet. Staff were friendly and helpfull.

4 of 5  Great Resort, A TripAdvisor Member, Butte, Montana, July 28, 2008

We read a lot of reviews about this hotel and a lot of negative ones are out there. I have to say we were very pleased with this hotel. I did not find cockroaches as others had said they found. I stayed on the bottom floor right around the corner of KoKomo's and we did not hear the music at all with the doors closed. We did hear the bar crowd leaving but that was only a few times nothing more.

The hotel room was above average in my opionion and trusts me I have stayed in a lot of hotels. I am a travel agent and wanted to see what all the hype was about the Lake Havasu area. The only part of the hotel room that was not cleaned was underneath the sofa bed; let me ask this under your sofa bed is yours clean?

The guest staff was always polite and check in and out was perfect. We had diner at Martini bay, wonderful food. The hotel has 3 pools one for more of the adult crowd, which included volleyball net. The other two were geared more for families with one having a waterfall and they showed a family movie during one of the nights at the other one.

Very kid friendly. They even had a Wii tournament one night for the kids. You could not ask for a better view of the Channel. I would recommend the resort to anyone that wants to go down. I can say however that if you go down during spring break time you will encounter partiers and I am sure it is a loud time period.

4 of 5  Great location. The rates are very reasonable., A TripAdvisor Member, UK, January 17, 2008

hotel is fantastic! It has a great location. The rates are very reasonable. Room's are big with spa bath, nice bar ,good pool ,lake out side what more do you need ??? MORE BEER

4 of 5  Favorite Hotel in LHC! From Buena Park Boater, A TripAdvisor Member, Buena Park, Ca, August 21, 2006

We love this hotel - I'd give it 3 Stars *** at best. We are boaters and enjoy being on the water and having dock access. Also, it is walking distance to all of our favorite eateries. We have only stayed in the 1 bedroom units. I will admit the staff at check-in is not overly friendly, but everyone else we encountered made up for it. Our room was clean and pleasant, had more ammenities than nearby hotels, and the view of the bridge/channel at night is great. We have stayed at many surrounding hotels (Nautical Inn, Island Inn, Queens Bay Condos, Ramada) and this is our favorite. After returning from our July trip, we purchased a timeshare here. If you want to be in the center of everything, this is the place!

4 of 5  Great boating Location, A TripAdvisor Member, Whistler, Canada, August 1, 2006

We exchanged Time Share through Interval International for a week in July. OK its very hot in July (125 or 49 degrees)

We came with 2 Sea-Doos and it was great to be able to moor them for free outside. London Bridge resort is pretty spectacular on arrival, front staff were very nice and helpful we were traveling with 13/15/22 year old boys and this is a party hotel. At the weekend, during the week its quite. There are free computers to use a market, gym, expensive bar, very popular nightclub at the weekend, 3 pools one not very clean, one for adults attached to the club/bar and the other very normal pool. From here you can walk down a few steps to the docks. We arrived on Friday Party City everyone with a water Vessel of some description is moored along the canal having a great time, drinking, partying swimming just having a ball and this goes on all weekend. Whether you are in your teens or retired it seemed to be the place to be. Around the resort is an assortment of tourist shops portrayed as an English Village quite a few of the businesses were closed either gone out of business or just not there even on the weekend. My thought was that if you were there for for more than a couple of days it would be pretty boring unless you rent or take a boat.

We had a 2 bedroom suite a very weird layout they had put 2 sinks in different parts of the living area one with a hotplate and microwave and the other with the fridge it was a really inconvenient setup but we were not cooking, only using it for breakfast cereal.

The bedrooms were quite small with only 2 TV's no closet in the second bedroom just the bed, bathrooms were good clean, midweek cleaning was good clean towels etc.----------NO hassle for timeshare we were not ever approached.

We will return but next time at Spring break when we have been told its even more of a party. No not because of the partying but because its just too HOT

4 of 5  I love this Resort!!!, A TripAdvisor Member, Illinois, April 25, 2006

This resort gave me the best vacation ever! The view of the water and bridge was outstanding. It was so beautiful during the sunset! The Martini Bay Lounge was fantastic! They have delicious stuffed artichokes and very tasty blended drinks. For those of you who want peace and quiet, the months between October and February are gorgeous!!! If you want to party and go boating than the ideal months for you are March through the beginning of October. Winterfest months are in February, there are street fairs and pyrotechnic shows. In March is Spring Break which attracts MTV and music celebrities. Memorial weekend I hear is the busiest time ever, announced on t.v. shows everywhere.

The room was very clean and they even fullfilled my request of non smoking! I asked for room service for dinner and although that is not an amenity of the Resort they brought the food to my room anyhow. : ) . I like that there were not pets running around everywhere (there is a dog park across the way) and there is an arcade for kids on property. The hotel is conveniently in center of town, the Movies were right across the street, and so were a bunch of restaurants to eat at. The Market in the Resort had very friendly staff and the front desk clerks were very very helpful on finding me a boat rental place and a launch ramp within short distance of the Resort. The security officers were able to help me park my vehicle without it blocking traffic or getting hit. They also had a golf course and I love golf! Hope your stay will be as great as mine was!

4 of 5  Owner love location, A TripAdvisor Member, Denver, CO, January 22, 2005

Have been here several times, wonderful place especially if you have a boat and like the water. Can get loud if above the nightclub. Rooms are nice, we have a two bedroom so the rooftop balcony is great in the evening. Highly recommend, we go every other year. You can enjoy golfing, boating, tennis and exploring the area, not to mention limited gambling across the lake.

4 of 5  A great boat slip right at the hotel!, A TripAdvisor Member, August 3, 2003

The 1 bedroom hotel room was above average space-wise with a sofa bed in the living room for our teenager--great privacy! The kitchen has all the amenities you'd want to cook with--the refrig didn't work, but the staff put in a new one the second day we complained about it. Pretty quiet/clean/full size bed--could be bigger, but comfortable. Restaurant food isn't worth commenting on--the Javelina Cantina was superb--just on the other side of the London Bridge.

4 of 5  Make sure you don't get locked in!!, A TripAdvisor Member, July 14, 2003

We have stayed here once before and loved it! But, this last time, we were locked in our two bedroom suite and could not get out! They had to take the door off! There were a total of 6 people in our group. Each night for a total of 4 nights we changed to a different room. It was no picnic! The hotel Charged us for 3 nights instead of 4.

4 of 5  Always loved it! Hope we still will.., A TripAdvisor Member, LA,CA, May 31, 2003

My husband and his family have always loved this resort! Docks outside of a great bar Kokamos, great food, very clean. Best to have a time share here...a little pricey. We are going back for the first time in 3 or 4 years. We will put an update when we return.

2 of 5  Acceptable Hotel, but My Room was Below Standard, A TripAdvisor Member, Ann Arbor, Michigan, October 19, 2008

Recently, I stayed for 3 nights at the London Bridge Resort on a business trip along with a large group of colleagues. Although others found the hotel to be as expected, I found my room in particular to be below standards. The following is a summary of my impression:

Positives:

• Located right by the waterfront with many shops, restaurants, and activities nearby.

• My room included a kitchen with plates, silverware and such.

• Wi-Fi internet connection provided.

Negatives:

• My room was rundown, with threadbare, stained carpets, garbage under the sofa, cracked tiles in the bathroom, outdated bathroom fittings, toilet plunger in a garbage bag by the toilet, a balcony door that the wind kept blowing open (even while locked). Others in our party said they had much nicer rooms – maybe the property is undergoing renovation in phases.

• No breakfast included in the room rate. Breakfast restaurant on property has very slow service.

2 of 5  Convenient BUT . . ., A TripAdvisor Member, California, July 16, 2008

This hotel, Time Share, is convenient to everything but our stay was not very pleasing. We were in room 2060 wich is right next to the elevator. This was good for getting too but sucked to sleep next to. The party crowd was loud as they got on and off at 2am, and the elevator noise itself did not help. All the 2 bedrooms, which is what we stayed in, are smoking rooms and they reaked. We discovered roaches by our second night. We tried to shake all our luggage out before departing but when we got home we found a roach in a baggy.

Being on the water was great, The pool wasn't bad and the staff was generally friendly.

We traveled with our three kids 8 to 16. They had fun on the water and in the pool but did not sleep well in the room.

2 of 5  A bit rough at London Bridge, A TripAdvisor Member, Cave Creek, AZ, April 29, 2008

We felt that the property was a bit outdated. Some of the common areas were dusty, dirty or not well maintained. The pool looked dirty, scuffed and the tiles needed cleaning too. Umbrellas were broken, chairs were dingy, and the waterfall didnt work properly. We found out days later that the pool was suppose to be heated, but no one checked this, so we swam in the cold. The jacuzzi was uncomfortably super hot!! Our room was nice, but some of the furniture needed TLC too, such as the cushions on the dinning chairs. We did ask for an upgrade, and were told they were sold out, and no rooms available. However the hotel was not busy at all, and we had no neighbors nearby the whole time we stayed. Until the last night, we were very aware of this. Our requests were mostly accommodated, but with very little enthusiasm and no really friendly customer service. It was all done as a "matter of fact". Some of the staff were loud and boisterous, and didnt seem to notice you or acknowledge you while at the counter. The area was noisy too with the constant roar of speedboats. I would stay at another location away form the bridge, as it was really, really noisy on the weekends. During the week it was quieter. We did not know this before we came. We are older, and this place seemed to attract a younger, and rougher type of crowd.

2 of 5  Not a hotel, A TripAdvisor Member, OC, April 12, 2008

There is alot of confusion regarding this place. It is not a hotel but a timeshare resort that rents out its unused rooms. Hence the lack of service and support, and rundown look. It's a shame too because this place is ideally located.

2 of 5  Don't waste your money!, A TripAdvisor Member, san diego, January 8, 2008

I found this place on Google maps, and they were one of two resorts listed and the most expensive place in town. I thought that would guarantee us a good place.

I have to say upfront that it is not a bad place, just that you expect the most expensive place in town to be more. When we checked in, there is only one male clerk that works there, and he is the most anti-customer service person I have ever run across. We told him that we asked for a river view room, and he told us it was impossible to get one and that there was no way we could have asked for that! Wonderful, so I am a liar!

Once you get past the lobby, the hotel is in very shoddy condition. I remarked to my wife that the the owner must really be enjoying his money someplace, because he is obviously not investing it into his hotel. The elevators look like crap, one of the chairs on the second floor is stitched together with thread, and there was unvacuumed messes all over the floor (and they stayed there for 2 days!).

The rooms are spacious, however they are much the same, kept together with duct tape! You can tell this was a nice resort in 1990, it would be nice if they kept it up. The bathroom had old fixtures that were literally falling off the wall. The furniture was so old it was barely staying together. However we did like the convenience of the kitchenette.

The high speed wireless internet that they advertise does not in any way work. When I asked the front desk about it, the clerk on duty told me to stand on my bed, hold out my arms and pray! Really, she did! Then her excuse was that it was a windy night and blowing her antennas (?) around. She told me that I could come down and sit in the lobby and get it there. Yeah, that's what I want to do! Hang out with you, someone who thinks my hard-earned money is something to joke about! Be right there...

Finally, I came back one night to discover that my room hadn't been cleaned. I went downstairs to ask the front desk, and the one male clerk was working again (just my luck), and he said that he doesn't think that the maids provide service every day. Really, you work here, and you don't think that the maids provide service! Are you sure you work here??? Luckily a manager of some sort (maid service?) was standing nearby and overheard me. He immediately came over and offered to fix the problem (Hey London Bridge, if you read this, you should promote that guy! He was the friendliest in your hotel). I asked him about this, and he said that some of their customers prefer not to be bothered every day. What???? Are you kidding me???? If I go anywhere else in your town, and pay half the price, I am guaranteed room service every day! I have to pay you double not to get it???

Anyway to wrap it all up! It's not a bad place. It just really needs a customer - oriented manager who actually supervises their employees, and an owner who will put a small percentage of the profits back into the place instead of buying a new Beemer every year! Until that happens my advice is don't spend the extra money that this place costs. The owner(s) are just milking you. It really isn't worth it when you can get something much nicer for half the price! And employees who actually will give a crap about you! Because they don't here, you are just a dollar sign to them.

2 of 5  Great location but loud and run dwon, A TripAdvisor Member, Phoenix, AZ, October 1, 2007

Two good things about the London Bridge Resort:

(1) It is in an excellent location with the historic London Bridge in front of it.

(2) The beds were suprisingly comfortable.

However, there are many more cons about London Bridge Resort starting with the property is run down. We had a two bedroom condo on the 2nd floor. The floor was tilted due to the building shift and the rotting of the floor. The hallway was uneven with bumps and dips which if not careful someone could lose their footing. The room was decorated "okay" however two of the chairs were pleather. The room's kitchen was seperated with some of the dishes, the stove, microwave, and dishwasher in part of the room. Then in the second part of the room was the remaining dishes and mini-fridge. The windows were missing screens, which made leaving the windows open to enjoy the breeze a buggy-mess.

Although, it is not spring break or summer time, Kokomo the multi-dance floor club within the London Bridge Resort was going full blast on Friday and Saturday nights until 2 AM. Our room just happened to be right above the night club meant for up to 3,000 people (per the London Bridge Resort flyier). Our room bumped and thumped from about 9 pm to 2 am. When we contacted the front desk we were yelled at about a disclaimer that inorder to have a view of the water, we have to put up with the noise, however we were never given a disclaimer. Since it was Sunday morning by the time we contacted the front desk, and the music would not be as loud through the week, we kept our room.

2 of 5  Loved the room, Customer service was a downer, A TripAdvisor Member, Phoenix, Az, March 18, 2007

My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel on a whim. The room was spectacular, and we got a great deal on it as well. The bathroom was spacious and the hot tub was one of the best I had seen. There was a full kitchenette, which we made use of several times.

Our first visit was so nice, my girlfriend decided to surprise me a few months later with a second visit there. We went to Lake Havasu just to stay at the hotel, but when we got there, they told us the room type she had reserved was sold out and they would "upgrade" us to another room. We went to our upgraded room only to find we were given a room that was half the size, did not include a kitchen, and had one of the smallest bathrooms we had ever seen. We went back to the front desk to tell them this was unacceptable, and even after reviewing our reservations and confirmed we did in fact reserve the larger room, they told us there was nothing they could do. They did not even offer a free night or reduced rate. They did "graciously" allow us to cancel our room for that weekend, but made sure that we knew how they were bending over backwards for us.

We have not returned to the London Bridge Resort since, and do not plan to ever go back...Miserable experience!

2 of 5  Very noisy during spring break in March, A TripAdvisor Member, Langley,Canada, March 31, 2005

We spent one week at The London Bridge Resort in March (19-25) 2005 at the height of Spring Break. The water view rooms are located over a nightclub which is part of the resort. The nightclub allows extremely loud music to play until 2 in the morning. You cannot sleep if in the main bedroom. The management seems to encourage this party atmosphere and one night there were 3000 partiers in the club (I'm not kidding!). The manager offered us a room overlooking the parking lot but we felt that because of the number of young spring breakers around, that this was not an option for us. The manager said to me when I reported the terrible noise level, "Didn't you know that it was spring break when you booked this resort?" No, I did not, as spring break partying was the last thing we would expect after viewing the description of the resort. We moved to another motel to sleep and used the facilities at London Bridge Resort in the day (pool, suite with kitchen etc.). This was a strange arrangement but the only option for vacationers who wanted peace and quiet at night. The rooms are fine for 4 people and it would have been a nice place to stay if not for the intolerable noise (nice pool, grounds). The restaurant was closed (under renos). The staff was quite indifferent and uninformed about requests for things to do in the area.

The staff was also very unfriendly and would answer a phone call before attending to someone in line for a concern.

We will not stay at this resort again during the month of March . I guess the area at the river is for boaters and spring breakers but not for guests who want a quiet place to enjoy this lovely city in the desert.

2 of 5  Service Was Questionable, A TripAdvisor Member, LA, CA, August 6, 2003

We were disappointed by the initial rudeness and then the ineptitude and just general unhelpfulness by the check-in staff upon our arrival.

I called ahead to let them know we were on our way and was almost told off! The front desk would not let my friends (who were meeting us there and staying in room 2 of our suite) check in until we arrived. When I got there the reception desk wouldn't let my husband fill out the forms, and I had to go in (I have an infant in the car) to deal with it all. They sent me in and out 3 times to get various numbers from our boat, car etc. They also fail to mention the launch ramp is not theirs, but blocks away. You have to go launch your boat then drive it around to tie up at their dock (about 30 minutes to do this). The only nice, helpful person was the restaurant lady who handles room service requests. She was great.

The rooms were not anywhere near 5 star luxury...and not the two level condos pictured on their website. they were tiny scrunched up suites with bedroom walls that you could hear breathing through they were so uninsulated. The kitchens are simply a small sink and a couple of tiny cupboards with garage sale level cups/plates.

Watch out, every time we left our room for the day, the cleaning staff cranks down the AC to 80 degrees! It was sweltering when we returned mid-afternoon. Also they have a list of items that a re supposedly in your room and you have to pay for whatever is not their when you leave.

Check it when you arrive! Their list was very inaccurate...we were missing shower curtains, towels and plates for example and they had checked off that they were there.

The area itself (outside the "condos") is cute and there are some great shops and restaurants within walking distance. the riverfront with the dock almost makes up for the rudeness and cramped room.

The lake is awesome. You'll have a blast. Its a pity they don't train their staff on hospitality and helpfulness. And that their website is misleading in getting your expectations up for a really luxurious 2 bedroom condo...if I had been told up front what to expect, maybe 3 star suite instead of 5 star condo, I wouldn't have been so upset at the differnence.

1 of 5  Dirty Mold!!!!!, A TripAdvisor Member, Las Vegas, November 16, 2008

I have stayed here several times due the location, which is very nice. I am now changing hotels because of my last stay. There was mold in the bathroom again!! I don't think housekeeping knows what bleach is. I even asked for a bottle of bathroom cleaner to be brought to my room and they showed up with bottle of glass cleaner and told me this would clean thingd real good. This must be what they use all the time because the shower floor was brown. Another good tip is to never stay here during Spring Break!!! That is if you need to sleep. If you are a college kid and want party all night and puke in your room later, I highly recomend it. If you want to sleep, Forget It!!!!

1 of 5  This Place Needs To Be Shut Down, A TripAdvisor Member, tx, September 2, 2008

This was a nightmare.the bar was SERVING 16 Year olds all night, and then when they were plastered, the cops came in and arrested half of the "patrons" It was HORRIBLE. How can these places get away with serving teenagers? i have called liquor licensing and they said that they have had a lot of complaints. i hope they shut them down

1 of 5  Only suitable for folks used to staying at 3 star and below properties, A TripAdvisor Member, California, June 29, 2008

My husband and I stayed in a one bedroom and were extremely disappointed. They put us into a smoking room even though thats not what we booked and responded that they were sold out so they couldn't move us. The room smelled bad and the furniture is old, outdated and poorly maintained. I picked up the phone to call the front desk and was entirely grossed out. There was gunky stuff on the earpiece, and the phone key pad was covered with gooey yellow orange stuff. The flatware in the drawer was also covered with dried food. There were cups missing, no wine glasses and corkscrew. We called the housekeeping department numerous times and they still never brought them up though the inventory sheet indicated that we would be responsible for missing items. The toilet overflowed and the floor was covered with an inch of water. All housekeeping did was send throw some towels over it and leave. We called the guy back to disinfect it, and he came back and sprayed something on the ground and left. We noticed that there was still a lot of water puddled under the sink and we asked housekeeping to come back and mop the floor since we threw more towels on top of it. Housekeeping mopped a little around the toilet and didn't continue to clean under the sink. They left it as is. Our DVD player hasn't worked for two days and they still haven't figured it out and we still aren't able to watch movies. If you are used to staying in 4 star and above hotels, this play will totally gross you out. This place is good for young partiers and families that are used to staying in 3 star and below properties. PS the sponge they give you to wash the dishes was used and old. This is not hygenic. The blinds are old plastic ones so if you like to sleep late and can't when fill sun comes through the windows, you may have a problem. Our room faced the parking lot and we could hear people all night coming and going. It was very loud. I can't say one good thing about this property aside from the location and the Martini Bar.

1 of 5  Two Stars not 4 Stars Resort, A TripAdvisor Member, Pasadena, March 15, 2008

We saw the picture of London Bridge Resort on the Internet, and it was great, and it was also rated 4 Stars, and we paid a lot of money for it for a weekend rate.; however, the place is really run down, and our room was below average, and smell, and the bathroom has Crock Roaches. We made a complained to the staff, and also the manager, but nothing was done. We also write a complained on the service survey at the Resort, but no one has contacted us. My B-Day was ruined.

1 of 5  Horrible Experience!!!, A TripAdvisor Member, Las Vegas, Nevada, April 3, 2007

We booked this resort through our timeshare for springbreak with 3 of our teenage sons.

Let me start off by saying DO NOT STAY HERE during spring break-MARCH-APRIL. (unless you are a college student) It is jammed packed with college students who party until morning.

I would also think twice about booking a unit here during the rest of the year as well.

Our two bedroom unit #2018 was directly located over the bar. We might as well have been sleeping in the nightclub ourselves.

The whole room was vibrating with extremely loud music until well after 2 AM. We tried to drown out the noise with television but that did not work.

The front desk staff, who by the way, were very sweet, could not move our rooms until Sunday (we arrived on Friday).

We were given our new room # 3050, which happened to be located on the other end of the hotel and also on the 3rd level which was SUPPOSEDLY quieter.

The new room was not vacuumed-food under the coffee table, toenails on the bedroom floor, and a toilet plunger left by the toilet. Dead roaches on the kitchenette sink. It also had a musty smell. I got housekeeping to come back.

That night, as I was getting into bed, I saw bugs coming out of the side of the bed. I had my husband lift the mattress to check for bedbugs and we found a condom along with bugs. It was late so we stayed, but I slept in the chair and listened to the once again loud music, along with people throwing up in our halls. The college students staying across from us vomited in the comforters and towels and put them outside our doors.

We checked out on Monday-cutting our trip short. I told the front desk what happened and they did nothing.

Fortunately, we only had to pay $170.00 as we used our timeshare to book this.

I have never been happier to be back home in VEGAS!!!!

We travel quite extensively for business, as well as pleasure ,and I have to say this was by far the worst hotel/resort.

1 of 5  London Bridge Resort - horrible experience!, A TripAdvisor Member, Moorpark, California, March 26, 2007

We supposedly booked the nicest, most expensive room at the London Bridge Resort. We went there because my husband was competing in a triathlon on March 24th. When we arrived, we did indeed have a 2 bedroom suite but the view was of the parking lot. We were supposed to have a "Bridge" view. Well, I could barely make out the west end of the bridge.

I called the front desk to ask what happened. They said that they could not guarantee a view! My husband was tired and he pointed out that we would be at the pool or the triathlon most of the time anyway. So I decided not to fight it. I should have!

The noise from the college kids started at 9:00 p.m. We booked this hotel because it was supposedly the nicest in LHC and I was not aware that spring break was going on. The organizers of the trithlon also did not inform us it was spring break for some of the local colleges.

Well, the front desk said that they would not do anything about the noise until 11:00 p.m. My husband was trying to get some sleep before his competition. I kept calling the front desk to ask them to do something about the noise. They did not seem to care that these kids were disturbing the entire floor. The noise finally ended at mid-night with several phone calls to the front desk and security coming to the floor 5-6 times. They started back up at 2:30 in the parking lot. Security was not affective at all.

Also, the hotel is in disrepair. We had to ask for a new toaster oven three times to get one that worked. The carpet in the hallway is held together with duct tape. The hallways in the hotel smelled like vomit in the morning and bleach the rest of the day.

The pool has no service during the day. We had to walk over to one of the little restaurants next to the hotel to get lunch. Sometime after 2:00 p.m., a gal showed up to serve drinks but she was by herself for two pools and tons of college kids.

There is also no other services to speak of (no room service or porter service). We had to stand in line at the reservation desk to check out because they have no other service for quick checkout. When the front desk asked about my stay, they seemed totally uninterested in the fact that I told them my stay was miserable. When I called them the day before and told them we would be leaving a day early because of all of the noise, the front desk made a joke about it.

I will never stay at this hotel again. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone! If we do the trithalon next year, we will stay at the host hotel or rent a house. This place was miserable.

I liked the view from the upper pool over the river. And my children loved the pool. Also, the food at the Martini Bar for dinner was pretty good. Unfortunately, these are the only 2 positive things I can say about this place.

BTW, the hotel never offered to comp a drink or an appetizer or anything to compensate for our miserable experience!

Absolutely appalled that this hotel has a rating!!

We stayed just overnight and that was enough, the room was dirty, the bed linen was dirty, some of the room furnishings were broken.

When we asked at reception whether it had a bed settee we were told yes it did but not all of the ones in the hotel work??

Noisy and by far too much money for the level of service

1 of 5  This is not what I would call 4 stars., A TripAdvisor Member, San Diego, CA, February 10, 2006

I travel for a living and stay in a lot of different hotels. According to hotel.com this is suppost a 4 star hotel. I would say that it is 1 and a half at best. The room was dirty, there was a toilet plugger next to the toilet, dirty sheets, silver fish and rust in the bath tub, and a cold shower. And no room service for a resort. Need I say more.

For a Marina with on the water slips, they are not equipped. No ramp for launching, and don't you dare park in thier lot with a boat, or it's ticket and tow time. They save thier parking lot for the bar instead of the hotel guests. About 20 guest vehicles were ticketed and ready for tow by morning, and it seems to be a continuous thing, as our room messages had 5 left over messages from Security for the previous guests in our room. We had two children in a suite with a fold out bed. Towels and pillows in the room for two people. When we asked for extra towels and pillows - we were told we could have one more or they might run out. Felt like we were in school camp. Housekeeping won't touch your room if you are in there, or if you leave something like a suitcase or shoes on the bed. They don't come back either, they just skip you. We went for 4 days with no room service at all. We packed our bags and returned to Lake Powell where we were treated with warm smiles by friendly service oriented people from believe it or not, the Parks Service (Aramark). We will return next year to Lake Havasu, but definately not to this resort. Recommend something next door, or even one of the condos on the channel.

1 of 5  Don't book a wedding here!, A TripAdvisor Member, Lake Havasu City, AZ, July 19, 2004

I booked my wedding reception with the London Bridge Resort and put down a $500.00 deposit to secure my date. I felt the service and attention to detail was great until they had my money, know they won't even return my phone calls or talk to me. They called me to ask if they could give my date away, this is after they had my $500.00 deposit. When I called back, no one will return my calls. Now I want out of the agreeement, how do I plan a wedding reception with a place that won't talk to me? I put in a request for a cancellation months ago and no one will call me or talk to me. DON'T BOOK ANY AFFAIR WITH LONDON BRIDGE RESORT.
