Great Hotel....Friendly Staff & Clean room. Very convenient to I-75 Fantastic bed & pillows. Best night's sleep in a long time. Close to Brandon Town Center in which you have to try Barnacles Restaurant for lunch or dinner. There are 457 TV's plus 17 huge screens. Great happy hour and food. Only thing I wished I had done, was book this room on priceline.

Stayed one night at the Hilton Garden Inn, got a corporate comp room thru our work. It is about 20 minutes from the TPA airport easy enough to get to. Hotel is located in an industrial park that is nicely landscaped and quiet. We arrived late evening and opted to go out to eat as opposed to the restaurant in house. You will need to get onto the I-75 to get to the familiar places to eat like Applebees etc. or check at the desk for something else. There is a Dunkin Donuts about a 5 min. drive on the main blvd. nearby if you don't need/wish to pay the $9.95 per person for the buffet breakfast. The checkin was smooth and easy. Rooms were very clean and one thing I always check for is everything in working order (no broken appliances) and it was. Rooms have a microwave and mini fridge. The room was "business" style. We'll be back. I came down for spring training baseball games and spent two nights here with my two young sons. Together with two other guys and their sons we had three rooms total. Great place, no complaints. I called ahead on the first day before arriving to confirm that they could give us the three rooms with two beds each, non-smoking as we had requested when making the reservations. No problem there. Rooms are excellent. Clean. Fridge and micro very convenient. Staff were all EXTREMELY helpful and friendly, from front desk to restaurant to housekeeping. The breakfast (not included) was outstanding at $10 per adult, $5 child. Custom made eggs, pancakes, whatever. Good coffee. Nice pool but lots of leaves/twigs. No big deal. Very convenient to Legends Field and tons of restaurants only one exit away. After encountering 1 hour+ waits at Carrabba’s and Macaroni Grill, we went to Barnacle’s seafood. Very good and no wait. They have a million TVs with sports on and a billiard/game room attached to the restaurant. Great food and service plus fun for our kids. Great Hotel....Friendly Staff & Clean room. About 10minutes easy drive to Busch Gardens( they give you a map) Nice resturant for both evening and breakfast (plenty choice at breakfast). Rooms clean and spacious and have fridge/microwave. Definately would use this hotel again if visiting Busch Gardens. Now the minor complaint. The Bar closed at 9pm, but the reception area is nice enough to sit in and enjoy already paid for drinks. A great place to stay!!!!!!!!! The room and the hotel could not be faulted. It was very clean, nice size and actually seemed very new. Very good value for money. Note that the hotel lies just outside of Tampa, which was OK for us, but don't expect a hotel in the hub! Got this hotel on priceline. Incredible deal. Beautiful property within 3 miles of the Fairgrounds, if you are going to a concert. Less than 2 minutes from I-75 as well. My husband and I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn and loved it. The location is perfect. It's in a safe are and easily accessible to attractions. The rooms are immaculate. Coffee maker, fridge, micro, desk, 2 phones, hairdryer. Very comfortable. There is a restaurant w/in the hotel. They serve breakfast buffets for $8.95 and also serve lunch/dinner. They have a 24/7 pantry w/all amenities available plus different varieties of frozen foods, ice cream, wine etc. A 24/7 business room that offers FREE internet acess. Very convenient. I was able to print out my boarding passes for my flight! Fax/copier in there too. it's like having own office. Pool/hot tub. Very nice place. Email w/any questions. I attend horse shows at the Tampa Fairgrounds several weekends a year and I always stay at this hotel. It's clean, close by, and has anything you could want while on business. The property is located in an upscale office park, so it's not right on the major road. I feel really safe there and comfortable going for a walk if I want to. The staff are wonderful. I had an opportunity to visit the Tampa Area about two years ago and my family stayed at this hotel, first thing: we got anexcellent rate, the staff was very pleasant, room was very nice and overall hotel was nice/excellent Even though we were in florida, I would love to have had an indoor pool. (my personal prefer nothing against the quality of the hotel or service).my husband commit was we will be staying here again. This HGI is located in the Highland Manor office park. I stayed 4 nights on a trip to my company's offices that are also in Highland Manor. The office park and hotel grounds are very manicured and lush with giant live oak trees. I-75 is behind the hotel, but with all of the trees it took me a few days to see that. My room faced the freeway, but I never heard any freeway noise. Brandon typifies suburban sprawl, so you will be able to find any chain restaurant your heart desires. The hotel has a nice map of them which I just about wore out on my stay. My room was very comfortable for 1 person. Soft pillows/sheets/towels. In-room fridge/microwave/coffee maker. The alarm-clock/radio with buttons pre-set to channels that were labeled "News", "Rock", "Country" was a thoughtful feature. If you changed the water temp in the shower, it responded instantly (I don't even have that at home!) A/C kept the temperature wherever you set it, though it was a little loud. Restaurant: Never tried it because I stocked up at the grocery store when I arrived. It did seem very popular with the other business travelers at breakfast, happy-hour, and dinner time. Lots of people seemed to be taking advantage of room-service and I over-heard another customer say "Wow, you guys are fast" on my way down the hall. Business center: Didn't try it here, but it looked like other HGI's I've stayed with. Nice for printing your boarding pass real quick. Fitness center: Not the best. It was equipped with a water cooler and towels, but there were too many cardio machines for the small space allotted. Didn't even have a little set of dumbbells. The motion of the weight machine wasn't smooth. I did enjoy using the treadmill. Check-in: I checked in on Sunday at 1:30. They didn't make me wait until 3:00, and since the place was deserted the VERY friendly desk clerk spent plenty of time providing directions and restaurant recommendations. Cleanliness: The room and common areas seemed very clean. But I did advise the manager that the carpeting in my room (232) probably needed cleaning. When the maid left, the bathroom floor was clean, but after I'd been walking in and out barefoot the bathroom floor (and my feet) looked grungy. Overall, it's everything you need for business travel and it's nice enough that you can tolerate a stay of several days. I spent a weekend here with my wife and two and half year old daughter. We were in town for my niece's graduation and the hotel was close to my brother's home. I was able to get a room for $43 per night through priceline.com. The hotel sits just off I-75 in a very attractive, quiet wooded office park. There is no retail/commerical development in the immediate area, but numerous shopping and dining choices are available a few miles away around the Brandon Towncenter Mall area. Business travellers are their primary market, so it was mostly vacant and very quiet during the weekend. The hotel is not in the immediate area of any attractions but is a short drive to Busch Gardens, Hard Rock Casino, State Fair Grounds. We drove to Clearwater Beach in less than an hour and you could be in the Disney Area in little more than hour via I-4, which is just a few miles away. The staff was polite and helpful. The hotel has a very nice pool which my daughter and I had to ourselves. The exercise room was in good order with several different pieces of equipment that look like they were almost brand new. Our room was clean, large and comfortable but nothing exceptional. it was a well-done mid-level hotel room. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel, the $9.95 price was unattractive in comparision to other local choices a few miles away. They do offer room service in the evening and the prices were not too high. Overall, it was a pleasant place to stay and if you can get a room through Priceline at $43 per night a real bargain. We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn for two days in March. I had gotten the rate through Priceline and was really happy for the $50 a night that I paid. My sister and I stayed in a large king sized room, the space was large so we were not on top of each other. The room had a microwave, mini-fridge and coffee maker. The bathroom was large, bright and obviously recently upgraded. The bed was very comfortable, the only problem we had was managing to get the temp. right but that was mor eus than the hotel. We took advantage of the free internet access downstairs because we forgot our chord to hook up in the room. The staff were friendly and I would definelty stay there again. This hotel is right off of 75 and 3 miles from the Hard Rock Seminole Hotel and Casino. We found it easy to access the rest of Tampa with no problem because the highways are easy to access from this location. The hotel is in a business park area so there are not a lot of places to eat in the area, but they do offer breakfast in the morning. I stayed at this hotel several times for business trips. Even when I went back with my group one year after my last stay, I was surprised to see that the hotel staff remembered each of our names. I travel for work all the time. I can say this is the best hotel service I've ever encountered even in comparison with the Hyatt and W hotels. This is the only hotel that makes me feel like home. I stay here frequently for business. This is the nicest hotel in the area. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff is always friendly. I highly recommend the hotel and don't think you'll be disappointed. The hotel is located off of I-75 and I-4. The hotel is good for those who do business north of Tampa however not for the tourist. The hotel is surrounded by a bad neighborhood. The rooms were clean and of ample size with a microwave, and a desk. This Hilton Garden Inn is located in the middle of a very large and winding industrial park (Sabal Industrial Park). A nice industrial park (lots of trees with Spanish Moss, etc.) but an industrial park nonetheless. This is a run of the mill Hilton Garden Inn. Breakfast is good and serverd buffet style or cooked to order. The bar is tiny and closes at 9 pm. Fireplace area is nice and cozy, across the lobby from the dining area. Front desk staff were helpful. Rooms are exactly as you see this on the hotel's web site. There is a small pantry area by check-in for water, microwaveable foods, sodas, toothpaste, newspapers, etc. WIFI was easy to connect to. Pool area quite nice with lounging areas and a jacuzzi tub. I am not sure about their shuttle service, but you will be driving at least 5 miles to get to any decent restaurant (Bonefish, etc.) If you get a car, get a map of the industrial park. It is like being lost in the Twilight Zone if you don't get a road map to get you out. Avoid Broadway Avenue (yikes!) if you want to go into Ybor City to eat at The Columbia or do a bit of touristy shopping (The Columbia is a great restaurant). Not a bad stay really....but this hotel is for folks who are attending meetings at nearby companies in this industrial park. This hotel is located in a nice, quiet and heavily wooded office park east of Tampa. It has easy access to both I-75 and I-4, but be aware its a good 10-15 miles from downtown Tampa. The hotel itself is much like other Hilton Garden Inns around the country. What sets this one apart from the others are 1) outstanding staff who are friendly and knowledgeable and will go out of their way to see you enjoy your stay, and 2) an overpowering room freshner. I'm not sure why they use such a strong spray, but its quite noticeable. Turning the fan on high doesn't help much. Fortunately the windows open! The room was otherwise fine, with a firm comfortable bed and a clean and well-stocked bathroom. My only other gripe would be with the restaurant. The breakfast buffet was cold and undercooked. At dinner, there was a noticeable lack of wait staff. In fact, there was only one waiter for 20 tables. The management needs to do a better job staffing the restaurant based on occupancy. If you're looking for a good hotel, in nice quiet surroundings, this would be a good choice.

I took my two girls to a rock concert in hTampa and didn't want to drive late at night. I tried to find the closest hotels and figured I couldn't go wrong with a Hilton. When we got there, we were starving and had been looking forward to a room service dinner. We were told that they didn't have room service. They did have a "pantry" where we could buy something to put in the microwave in the room. The selection was slim and not very tasty. We decided to drive to the local Walmart to try to get something to eat, but it's not a "Super" Walmart, so we were out of luck. The clerk (who was very nice), chuckled and said, you're "out in the boonies" They do have a "restaurant", but it's only open short hours during the day. The room was nice, very clean, but I don't feel this hotel is up to the standard of Hiltons. I think te next time we have a girl's night out, we'll chose another hotel!
