Holiday Inn Carthage

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised with this property. When we walked through the door to check-in the receptionist called me by name before I even told him who I was! The check in was fast, simple and very courteous. The room on the second floor was very large, with a sitting area with sofa bed in addition to our king size bed. We could have slept 4 people there easily. I was told that the price for that room is the same as for a standard room so aways ask for the junior suite for the apparently free upgrade. The room was immaculate.

The "continental" breakfast was much better than we've had recently in motel stays. Full array of breakfast cereals, fresh fruits, bagels, toast and several juices, all inclusive in the room price.

Very nice large rooms and good breakfast included will keep us going back here when we visit our daughter in Carthage.
