My sister & I stayed here for two nights when I had to return to the hospital for evaluation. The staff could not have been any more helpful (and fun) and we both thought they were the primary reason our visit was so pleasant. The room was a nice size, very clean and we appreciated having the use of a kitchenette. Be sure to take advantage of the shuttle if you do not have a car. My colleague and I stayed for 5 nights. We had a two bedroom suite and both rooms had a shower/bath/toilet en-suite. There was also a full kitchen and a comfortable living room. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the daily breakfasts were delicious! Right across the street is a Target store which was perfect for stocking up on drinks and snacks to keep in the room. The Cherry Creek Mall is about a mile away and if the weather is nice you can walk right along the path that runs from behind the creek right to the mall. We were there for chili dog night and nachos night....and it was good food! All in all I highly recommend Staybridge Suites Cherry Creek! I stayed at the Cherry Creek Staybridge Suites for 4 nights and enjoyed every minute of it! I travel a lot on business and I've stayed at various hotels. This Staybridge is well-kept and the staff is very friendly. I enjoyed the hotels location as well. It is across the street from a super Target and a hamburger stand. I went to the Target to buy some food to cook in the built-in kitchen in the bedroom. I also liked that the hotel was just a short drive away from a great shopping mall and a iMax movie theater! The continental breakfast was good, and during week-day evening the Staybridge has a free dinner option as well. Overall this was a fabulous hotel and I enjoyed it a lot. I would stay here again anytime! I stay at the Staybridge a couple of times a year when I come to Denver to visit my mother in Cherry Creek. The location of the Staybridge is great, and it takes me just 5 minutes to drive to Cherry Creek. It feels more like living in an apartment building, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. After a depressing day with my mother, it is always cheerful to come back to the Staybridge. We were very pleased with this property. We are a family of 4, and had a grandparent traveling with us. We stayed in a 2BR, 2BA Suite. The room layout was great - each BR had a private bathroom, and our small children slept in the pull-out couch in the common living room. There was a TV/DVD player for them in the living room and each bedroom also had a TV - great for relaxing at night. The hotel also offers free DVD 'rentals' as well as board games. We checked in around 5:30 after a long day at Estes Park and Boulder, and were pleasantly surprised to be informed of the free dinners during the week (grilled burgers and hotdogs that night - they were good). The breakfast selection in the mornings is also good, and it changes daily. Pleasant staff just completes the nice stay! Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone, especially families. My 12 year old son and I went to Denver to visit friends and tour the U of Denver Law School. We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. It was great. The room was spacious and clean. The service was friendly at the front desk. The nightly offerings of appetizers was nice and the location was terrific. The front desk was extremely helpful, going out of their way to accomodate us. I would highly reccomend this hotel to anyone staying for more than a couple of nights, or anyone needing more space than the usual hotel room provides. The only negative thing I could say would regard the housekeeping service which twice failed to come back later when I requested them to do so. But that was negligible in light of the other aspects of our stay. I chose this hotel because it was close to my conference. I have traveled to a lot of hotels and this one is by far one of the most pleasurable. The front desk staff was very pleasant, friendly, and helpful. They serve dinner on Tues - Thursday with drinks including wine and beer on tap, as well as breakfast every morning. You have your own kitchen if you need it. There are many nice touches to the hotel such as complimentary microwave popcorn as well as the usual coffee and tea. They even have a shuttle to take you around within a 5 mile radius. There is a Target and drug store across the street and a beautiful creek for biking and walking. Overall a great deal for the money. This is a wonderful property in a gret location. Nice, new hotel, very clean. We always suggest that our relatives stay here when they visit. The hotel is located on The Cherry Creek trail and you can rent bikes about a mile away - or take a leisurely 20 minute walk to all the great shopping in Cherry Creek. We had previously spent nearly a week in a Staybridge suite in San Diego. We chose this hotel since my son was having surgery at Denver Children's. Having a surgical patient in addition to 2 other kids made this 2 bedroom suite perfect for our family of 5. My son spent the night in the hospital then had his own bedroom while the other 2 kids spent the nights on the fold out couch/bed. The breakfasts were perfect and the basketball court was a great diversion for both kids. The laundry facilities were wonderful and I exercised while waiting for laundry to be done. Even a better surprise was the hospital rate we were given. We will try to find additional Staybridge Suites to vacation in. A king sized bed in a separate bedroom in this quiet hotel is perfect for any insomniac! Our family stayed at the Staybridge Suites for 4 nights, bet 03/27/05 and 03/31/05. We had a two bedroom suite and we were on the fourth floor. We have been coming to Denver for the past 4+ years and have stayed at no less than 5 other hotels, all being in the Cherry Creek area. The Staybridge so far has been the best to date by far. We prepaid for our suite so we saved some money in that regard. The suite had a small fully equipped kitchen, full fridge, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, sink. We found the suite to be extremely clean, the small kitchen was spotless and the glassware, plates and silverware were also very clean. The area just beyond the small kitchenette is the living room and dining area, that included a pull out couch(that we did not use), a sitting chair, a eating table and 4 chairs. Our bedroom was kingsize with it's own bath and our son had a queen bed and his own bath on the other side of the living area. We found the place to be very quiet and private. The air-heating system worked very well with automatic adjusters in each room We revceived a copy of the Denver Post under the door every morning. Local phone calls are free. Breakfast is included in the suite. The eating area is called a great room and the food was delicious, ample, and the place seemed very clean and organized. One hot entry in the morning is served along with waffles, pastries, cereals, toasts, juice, oatmeals and such. There was more than enough for anybody. On Tuesday, Wed., and Thursday they offer free beer, wine and soda and a small light entree, all for free in the same great room. They have an ample excercise room, 2 treadmills, a stationary bike, ellipitical, and a weight stations. The Cherry Creek Bike/Running/Walking path touches the property so if you like the outdoors, there is no better place to explore the City of Denver. This place also has a basketball court and barbaque area that guests can use. If you have to do laundry there are 3 or 4 washing machines and 3 or 4 clothes dryers that are free for the using for guests. the place even gives you soap on the house. Lastly the service was as good as one could expect. The staff was very friendly and seemed helpful to everyone I had witnessed. I know we gave this place really good marks but that is because we believe it was a really great place to stay. No question about it, we will stay there again. Good Luck! What a great find! I totally recommend staying at the Staybridge Suites - Cherry Creek. Great location -- close to everything, especially the beautiful Cherry Creek Mall. I cannot say enough about the hotel. The hotel is really nice, very clean and the staff was extremely friendly -- every hotel employee I passed during my 5 day stay smiled and said hello. My room was a studio room, which was a great size for one or two people. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. I asked for a mountain view when I checked in and my request was honored with a smile.
Each morning you have a free Denver newspaper waiting for you outside your room door and there is a free continental breakfast which was very good -- this breakfast consisted of a hot item, fruit, cereal, bagels, muffins, etc. Each Tues, Wed, Thursday evening there is a complimentary dinner served for hotel guest. The Staybridge goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable -- I will definitely stay here again and will recommend friends and family to do the same when visiting Denver. Stayed here for graduation weekend and was pleasantly surprised. The location is great, steps from the Cherry Creek walking/biking trail (free loaner bikes available!). We could see and hear the creek from our room which was nice since we were expecting to be surrounded by concrete and buildings. Ask for a room facing the path, because the other rooms do, in fact, face buildings and concrete. The staff was extremely friendly at check in and whenever we had any questions. The breakfast was OK, waffle iron, fruit, non-instant oatmeal, yogurt, bacon & eggs, etc. Crowding was the only problem in the morning as the breakfast serving area is a bit small for the size of the hotel. Our one bedroom was a nice size and the kitchen well equiped, and the Target across the street made getting supplies convenient. The furniture was standard hotel foam and formica - just ok but it was nice to be able to sit and chat. We go to Denver a few times a year and will be using this hotel again the next time we are in town. We stayed at the Staybridge Suites for one night and it was fine. We had a one bedroom suite which was very clean and, although the place was by no means full when we were there, the room and the hotel were nice and quiet. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. When I asked about places for dinner, the guy printed off the menus from several local restaurants for me so that we could make a better choice. Breakfast was nothing exceptional but was perfectly OK. There is no swimming pool at the hotel but there is a basketball / volleyball area outside – you can get a ball from the front desk. The exercise room was good with a decent weights machine as well as the more standard kit, although it is shared with the guest laundry room so you can work out to the smell of drying laundry! If you don’t have your own computer with you, then there are two PCs that guests can use to access the internet. They also have loads of DVDs that you can borrow to watch in your room. The hotel is only a couple of minutes drive from Cherry Creek where there are lots of restaurants or, if you want to cook yourself, you can go shopping at Target across the street from the hotel. Maybe city centre hotels cost more, but I didn’t feel that USD 199 for our room was good value. Would I stay there again – possibly - there's nothing wrong with it apart from the price. Stayed here for a 3-day weekend with 2 adults and 1 infant. The hotel had a great setup for us - we had a 1BR suite with more than enough space. A little kitchenette made life easier, and they had a great breakfast buffet every morning - pancakes, eggs, cereal, fruit, pastries, etc. And they always had coffee and soft drinks available 24/7, as well as internet access, movies, and books. This location is right next door to a Target (which I would normally consider a bad thing) but once again it made life easy to walk across the street for groceries and supplies. The best part, for me, was that the front door is 50 feet from the Cherry Creek hike and bike trail. I've heard the trail is some 26 miles long, but I only ran 8 and 10 miles over the weekend and loved having it there. We were close to the Denver Zoo (just 10 minutes away) and in a good area with restaurants, etc. We had never stayed at a Staybridge Suites before, but now we'll book them without a second thought. Well done! We came to the Staybridge a couple of days after the first of the two big snows that hit Denver at the turn of the year - a lot of services in the city had been having a difficult time of it in a town that had ground to a halt, but the Staybridge kept going without - as far as we could see - missing a beat. The suite was basic but very comfortable and in excellent condition - clean, everything working, comfy bed; TVs in both rooms, lots of storage space. (Handy, as it was Christmas, and we ended up with a lot of stuff we hadn't started out with.) The staff were friendly and very helpful - especially Andrew on the front desk who instantly added all guests to his extended family. The business centre is a little sparse, but the rooms all had wired internet for free so, really, you only needed to pop down to print out the odd document - assuming there were no children playing solitaire on the PCs. There is a hotel library, but to be honest it seems to consist of little more than books that have been pre-enjoyed and abandoned by guests: abandoned, presumably, in shame. The BridgeMart will contain no surprises for anyone familiar with the 24/7 shopping option in this chain - great for snacks and pop; less useful for satisfying nutritional requirements. There is, however, a Target bang opposite, so if you do require potatoes, cheeses or Taco Bell, you've got that on your doorstep. (There's also two strip clubs on the block, too, although it's not really that sort of neighbourhood.) The breakfasts are basic - mildly more elaborate than you'd get in a British Holiday Inn Express - but the Sundowners can be quite fun; each evening a themed meet-and-greet; the only slight downside being when there's a mix of free beer and younger guests in the room at the same time. The free laundry (Boxes of Tide a dollar each) is a great touch when you're having a long stay; there is ample parking - and even with a full-ish hotel and much of the lot under snow and pack ice, there was never any problem parking. The hotel opens out onto Cherry Creek, on one of its nicest stretches in the neighbourhood. Great for a brisk walk - you won't need to use the small gym inside... Booked a govt. rate king room and was commuting to the DTC daily. Requested king suite from Drew upon check-in and got one on the 4th floor overlooking the jogging/bicycle path. Nice suite with full kitchen however I didn't care for the dark green motif, which I found depressing. Daily breakfast and nightly snacks/light meals (Tues-Thurs) were a nice touch with a live band outside on Weds. A fellow patron told me they used to serve beer/wine with the snacks but must have lost their license or changed owners, as a new alcohol license request was posted on the main lobby windows. There is a super target across the street for groceries and such and numerous decent chain restaurants nearby. While this is a nice area, there are also a strip club within a block or so of the hotel in the front of the Target parking lot; I thought it was really strange although I never saw any seedy characters hanging about and you'd never know it was there. Each room has a DVD player and movies are available for free at the front desk, and there are two free internet access terminals available in the family room/library. This hotel was so wonderful. Beginning with the wonderful service checking in. I was pleasantly suprised with the suite and the warm accomadations and a dvd player. I t iis close to trails and shopping and has a 24 hour business center with 2 computers availabe and books. There is also a hot tub outside. Wha t also suprised me was the breakfast. Being allergic to gluten. I cannot have most breads,. This hotel offers cottage cheese and a full fresh fruit spread. Would definitely reccomend to anyone. This is a good hotel. I've stayed here over the Thanksgiving holiday 2006 (along with several family members-3 rooms total) and once before in October 2006. This is a really great hotel. It is affordable, clean quiet, and near to the Cherry Creek mall (under 1 mile away), and literally just off the cherry creek jogging trail as well as other shopping in Glendale. We chose this hotel because it is near our family member's home, and it was perfect for our needs. All of our rooms were suites, with two double beds in the bedroom, and there was a pull out couch in our living area room as well (so we could accommodate a total of 5-6 people comfortably). All our rooms were clean and well appointed with a kitchenette (including dishwasher, full size refrigerator, microwave, sink, glasses and plates). There is also a very nice breakfast served in the breakfast area. This place is a good value. We recently got back from a house hunt trip to Denver with a 5 night stay at the Staybridge. It really was a great fit for our needs - and was one of the few places that had a true two bedroom suite. My mom stayed with our 18 month old while my husband and I took off every day to house hunt. The front desk was great, the shuttle (anywhere in a 5 mile radius) was super helpful, the rooms were a nice size and had very nice linens and towels and the staff was really wonderful. We were impressed by the complimentary breakfast and dinner/happy hour (Tuesday - Thursday), the free use of computer/internet and printing in their business center and free ethernet in the room and free use of laundry machines!. It is walking distance to Cherry Creek Mall and a Super Target it right across the street. It is also next to some strip clubs.... and while we were assured that the area was safe, it did take us a little by surprise to drive past Shotgun Willies, the Penthouse Club and a huge sex store. Still, there were lots of kids, hospital patients and a few dogs at the hotle while we were there - and everyone seemed harmonious. On the con side - it wasn't the cleanest room I've ever been in - but still we feel that we got a really good deal with all the free amenities. We rented three one-bedroom suites in early June. The rooms were very clean and well-maintained. One of the best things about this hotel is its location. You are close enough to walk to Cherry Creek Mall and Cherry Creek North and Target is right across the street in case you have forgotten anything! One of our favorite sports bars, Choppers, is also within walking distance (1/2 mile). There is a nice trail that runs alongside the creek in front of the hotel. This trail is for biking and walking and will take you into Cherry Creek and beyond. It's very convienient because you can avoid traffic while you are walking. Each morning, we enjoyed a good selection at breakfast with a different hot item every day. Our only complaint was that one morning they did not have any hot water to make tea or coffee. Overall, this hotel is good value for money and the staff were very pleasant. One nice amenity is the mini-convienience store on the first floor. It stocks various food items in case you get the munchies or want to grab something for your day out - nice touch! We did an overnight stay at the staybridge. We stayed in a 2 bedroom/2 bath unit which was just as excepted. We had 3 TV's and plenty of room. Everything was clean and very new looking. My boys loved the outdoor basketball court and courtyard area. Also in the courtyard was a nice sized hot tub---but MUCH to our disappointment(and also not advertised as a seasonal amenity)the hot tub is not open in the winter---will open again May 1st!!!! We ALWAYS chose our hotel based on if there is some type of water activity--pool or hot tub so we felt quite cheated to not get to soak in the evening as planned. I mean--this is Colorado and there are tons of outdoor hot tubs at hotels and resorts. I'm not sure why this property opts not to offer this as a year round option? OK, back to the positive. The hotel is right next to a path that runs along Cherry Creek. My husband and I love to jog, so this was perfect for us. The kids too loved messing around near the creek bed. (may want to bring them a spare set of shoes if you tend to let your kids induldge in any and every advertures like I let mine) Near the hotel are tons of places to eat and shop. We went to Dave and Busters which is like a grown up Chucky Cheese, with much better food. We enjoyed playing games and just hanging out there so we were glad it was close by. The continental breakfast was ok, but not as advertised in the pictures. There were no pasties. They did have waffles though so we were able to get our sweet fix for the day. Just would have like some type of danish to be offered as pictured on their website. So, would we go back. Yes, if it's in the summer when the hot tub is OPEN. But if we need a winter stay, unfortunatly, we will pick a different spot. Hope this helps you plan your stay. We stayed for four nights. The room was everything we exspected. They have complimentay clothes washers and dryers in the fitness center so we were able to execise while doing laundry. It was wonderful. Staff was always curteous and helpful. I would definitly stay there again and recommend to others. Great value for your money! Nice rooms and friendly atmosphere; A hotel with all amenities, except...one huge negative, the shuttle doesn't run on weekends and though when making the reservation for the weekend, we asked approx what the radius in distance for shuttle service, the hotel verified the times but neglected to mention days of operation were limited. So money we saved with the weekend package was used to pay the taxi trips! First, Cudos to Brenda Osborne, Rep from Staybridge, for helping us with receiving a Hospital rate for the 2 bdrm suites (139 from 179/night); and with all helpful info. for our week in Denver at a developmental treatment center for our children. The room was nice enough, nice kitchen, bedrooms, and meals, etc., but it was the attention to detail and information that was, well, pathetic. We contacted the front office 4 days in a row to get our ice maker fixed....Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. We stopped asking. We asked two days in a row to stop paper deliver. Nothing, Nothing, Nothing. In one bedroom the backing of the carpet was showing and we would step on the nails coming up from the carpet -- one time drawing a small amount of blood -- based on our other attempts to discuss matters with the front desk, we didn't even bother to bring this up at the front desk -- as it seems apparent to us that these problems (incl. the ice maker) had probably been evident for some time. We asked for our DVD player in the room to get fixed. The 3rd day it started working. We don't know if they fixed it or not, because, you guessed it, we heard nothing, nothing, nothing. The breakfast and Supper's were very good and the location is great. Just don't come expecting anything that looks like attention and service from the front desk.

I attended the CEDIA Expo and the only reason I stayed at this hotel was because this was where I was assigned by the trade show. They block rooms at almost all the Denver area hotels and assign each attendee to whichever hotel they have available for you. I paid $189 a night and was very surprised that this was a the discounted negotiated rate! Sure it's not too far from the Convention Center (a 10-15 minute drive).... Sure, the room is spacious... but do you really need a kitchenette with a LOUD refrigerator? No. I stayed in room 313 and the regular air conditioning unit was broken so they had this portable floor unit that was so loud during the night. Without screens on my windows (after looking outside at other rooms, I honestly think mine was the only one without), I could not have the windows open at night for fear that bugs, mosquitoes, etc, would creep in. The bed was hard as a ROCK. I had so much trouble sleeping the two nights I was there. The pro's... the staff was friendly although they did not have any other rooms available to move me to. The breakfast is fairly adequate but I only stuck with cereal and toast. Business Center was free but the internet connection was SLOOOOOOW. Bottom line... overpriced and just NOT worth it. I'd only stay there again if I was forced to, like I was this time. My husband and I booked a block of rooms for our wedding at this hotel. We were excited to offer our guests rooms that had kitchenettes. They were appreciative of that. Another reason we booked here was because they offered the best rate in the area. For what you get at this hotel, the rate was good. The issues came with the extras that we required as a wedding party. When my guests called to make reservations, they weren't always put on the wedding block. I had to call every week and make sure that they were given the discount and put into our block. Then, I asked if they could give each of our guests a gift basket when they checked in. They assured me that this was something they did often, and it would be no problem. I made beautiful baskets, but they weren't given to everyone. I had to ask for them back and hand them out myself when we visited with our guests. The worst was that they were supposed to have a room for us on our wedding night. When we showed up after the reception, still dressed in our wedding clothes, we were not greeted with a smile. We were instead told that our room was not available. The guy at the front desk could not find our reservation and was very rude to us on our wedding night of all nights! The rooms were okay, but the service wasn't. I would not suggest this hotel when there are others in the immediate area that cost just $10 more a night. This hotel is typical - all about appearances. The lobby facade is just that - an attempt at being more than a 2.5 star hotel. Location is top-notch. Space in the room is also better than average. During our stay, we were forced to move rooms because of a smell that crept in the third day of our stay (the fridge also leaked three days.) The advertised free laundry is hardly worth it - only one of the driers worked. An exercise bike also didn't operate properly. The female staff member handling breakfast functions exhibits no personality (which is where this hotel could make up for its shortfalls) and could keep the small breakfast nook better stocked. After building a rapport with evening staff, conversations revolved around how many issues the property has (including laundry facilities, air conditioning, and overall upkeep.) * cleanliness average (no regularity in housekeeping) * beds average (pillows are low-end) * staff below average (one has been outgoing) * Internet below average (376k down/1154k up, 144ms latency) * air conditioning average (digital thermostat is nice) * price above average ($139 for king room) * location above average (Cherry Creek is central to Denver) We stayed here based on a recommendation from a family member who stayed at Staybridge in Lone Tree CO. At twice the price, this property leaves much to be desired. This hotel has a lot going for it. Decent location and rooms. Nice breakfast setup. But our stay was marked by a few experiences that just seemed to overshadow the good. We noticed a group of children (looked like ages 6-12) running through the lobby while we were checking in. (It was very late, so I was surprised to see unattended kids of this age at that time.) Somehow I wasn't surprised to hear them running up and down our hall once we'd settled into the room. Upon calling the front desk, the manager told me she didn't know whose kids they were or what room they were staying in. But if the noise really bothered me that much, she'd move me to another room. I certainly wasn't expecting that response. You'd think the hotel staff would want to track down the parents of unaccompanied children. Once the noise died down, near midnight, we did manage to get some sleep. And, again, the room was decent, so the sleep was fine. On the negative side, the wireless internet was very hit and miss. Visited the fitness center the next morning and was just very dissapointed. The equipment was unimpressive enough, but the room also adjoined the laundry room. So that was weird. I think the hotel must know how bad it is because they offer free passes to a nearby 24-Hour Fitness location. There's a Target that you can easily walk to. And there are plenty of restaurants in the vicinity. (A couple reviews have mentioned the nearby adult clubs, but I'm not sure I'd have noticed them if I hadn't read those reviews before going.) If you can get a decent rate, it might be worth your while to stay here. But it's not worth a premium price. The Staybridge must be using a different dictionary than I am. I reserved a "suite" that supposedly had a queen size bed." Although the dictionary definition of a suite is a living space with "more than one room," I found my "suite" to be a single, cramped, hotel room. And although the dictionary definition of a "queen size bed" is one that is 60 by 80 inches, the bed that I got was not a queen -- it was a few inches wider than a double. When I went to talk to the front desk about these problems, they simply asserted that the bed was in fact a queen (not true), and they told me I could get the suite of rooms that I thought had I had reserved -- but only if I wanted to pay $20 more a night. In addition to these problems, the bathroom had no sink or mirror -- these were both out in the single room, and the toilet was just a few feet from the bed, making the room feel much less private than even a standard hotel room. To add insult to injury, the front desk attempted to charge us $15 more than the quoted rate on the way out. When we discovered the error, they had no explanation for the overcharge. While we had reserved the room for four nights, we left after one, and moved down the street to the Hampton Inn, which had the same free internet access and free breakfast, a real king size bed, a refrigerator and a microwave, and a Starbucks and wonderful Wild Oats store a few yards away from the front door. And, it was less expensive.
