Very Pleasant | Read all reviews
We received a great deal on a room at this hotel and were extremely happy with the value. The room was a very pleasant 2 room suite with a comfortable king bed and pull-out sofa. Everything was clean and tidy. There were a couple of chips in the tub and some indications of age in the place, but it exceeded our expectations completely. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub in the evening. There were plenty of towels and also a small exercise room. The Charley's Steakhouse next door was convenient and good, although quite pricey. We did not try the hotel's restaurant or bar. We used the hotel shuttle for a 10 minute trip to the airport in the morning. The desk clerk said that we could use the shuttle to go anywhere within 3 miles of the hotel. I definitely wouldn't want to pay the rack rate, but at a Priceline discount, it was a tremendous bargain.

To tell the truth, it's not that bad! I read some of the reviews on this site and though OMG--what am I in for?! Well, my stay was great. I got picked up at the airport by their free hotel shuttle and the driver was super friendly--She even offered me bottled water on the short drive to the hotel. The Front Desk staff was very friendly and inviting. The rooms are large b/c they are 2 room suites. Yes they are a little old looking, but very comfortable. I met the sales manager for our meeting and she told me that the hotel will get a big renovation next spring (2009). I all have to say is "it's not that bad!" I appreciated the timely pick-up from the airport and availability of the bellman to take and pick me up from my office each day. My room was immaculate and great water pressure in the shower! Your restaurant food is better then most hotels and having a pool table in the lounge was fun. You have a new fan! Stayed for one night. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. After reading the other reveiws, now I know why I thought it looked like an Embassy Suites. I don't care about old furniture. It was in decent shape. The bathroom, however left a lot to be desired. Very old. Diry tile grout in tub. No stopper. In need of a caulk job. Bathroom floor grout dirty. I'm sure they clean it, just not well and years of use have left their toll. They need to spend a little money on the bathrooms. Other than that, it was comfortable for one night.

This hotel is not up to Sheraton standards. The lobby is very nice and the staff were all very pleasant but the rooms were absolutely terrible. It is a non-smoking hotel as of August but smoke still permeates the rooms. The furniture is old, dated and musty smelling and the AC merely blows mildewy air throughout the room. The hotel is supposedly undergoing renovation but there was no sign of that when we were there. I would not recommend this hotel, even though the rooms are quite generously sized (it was originally an Embassy Suites when it opened in 1986).
