Ramada Strasburg

Great base for touring Amish country. Staff is very attentive and gracious. Housekeeping deserves a star. Room very clean, no hidden "dust", no mold in bathroom. Pool and hot tub a nice surprise and open until 11 p.m. Saw staff checking pool chemicals. Breakfast bar offers cereal, fresh sweet rolls, fruit, and a hot item every morning. Cookies by checkin desk are fresh and tasty. Would stay again. Senior rate was under seventy.

Ramada Limited in Strasburg, OH is clean, friendly, and priced right. We had a king room which was large and clean.

The pool and hot tub were a nice feature for the price.

As was the continental breakfast: variety of cereals-hot/cold, juice, coffee, various breads and bagels, danishes, assortment of fruit, and a hot breakfast item.

Overall a very nice place to stay while visiting the Amish!

What a great place to stay! This place is so good, my family will accept no other place to stay when we are in the area. The manager of this hotel should be commended. There are NONE BETTER!!!

We stayed here on a week night as it was one of a few nice places close to our destination in Kidron. The staff was very friendly, the room was clean, and there was a decent breakfast in the morning. We drove about 20 minutes away to have dinner at the Amish Door, so we were pleased to find a good restaurant nearby. My only complaint would be that the bed was really hard. My husband didn't mind and slept comfortably, but I woke up several times during the night and wasn't particularly well rested the next morning. It was a decent place to stay the night for a fair price.

Normally, I book through Priceline, Expedia, Hotels.com, but this time the hotel website was cheaper and no "extra" fees. It looked pretty new from the website pictures and we were so pleasantly surprised when we got there! Everyone was so nice and friendly! Only problem was that we wanted a King room and the only available was a smoking room. The hotel staff knowing this ahead of time, placed a smokeeater unit in the room hours before our stay to rid the room of any smells and it worked great! We had a great exercise room down the hall and the pool was nice as well. I didn't try the hot tub only because I was concerned about the "foam" on top when it was not in use...probably chemicals to clean it, who knows. The staff were great! Knowlegable of the area and pointed us in the right direction. We loved the charm of the town and enjoyed seeing Amish country! We ate at Hog Heaven...a pure treat!! We will definitely stay again at this Ramada! Clean, new and just on the outskirts of the "hub bub"! Easy to find too!

We have just returned from the Ohio Amish Area and had a wonderful stay at the Ramada, Strasburg, Ohio. A very clean place to call a home base to take in the Ohio Amish country side. (Holmes County). The hotel has an excellent continental breakfast to get you started in the morning. The hot tub and indoor pool is a good way to relax in the evening. The staff is very helpful and kind. There are many little Amish towns in the area to keep your interest for a few days. The convenient road signs in the area give you many options for visting the area. The Ramada in Strasburg a very neat place.

We've stayed in this very Ramada Inn before. The people are friendly and the continental breakfast has a good selection though the eating area is too small. We made a reservation a little late and were forced to take a smoking room. We've had to take smoking rooms before in other facilities and it has never been a big problem, but this time around there was a significant smoke odor. It hit us as soon as we walked through the door. Aside from that everything was fine. The room was neat and clean. Eventually we got use to the odor.
