First of all, i stayed at this hotel three times. August of 1984, August of 1986 and May of 1989. From what I have read, it is still the simple place for simple people to visit and truly... this hotel was wonderful do not listen to the neg. the staff was wonderful and the food was good , all rooms come with an oceanfront view and tv no phone service, please do bring you own soap... Silver seas is a well kept secret in oche i have stayed at this hotel for the past 5 years and every time i am delighted with the staff and barry the cook and it in a location where you can access... we stayed at silver seas on our freinds recommendation and we thought value for money it could not be beaten,we were only there for one night but wish it had been longer and will definetlybe... Silver Seas Hotel is fantistic...I love this place, a real down to earth local hotel with a genuine caring and loving Jamaican staff. They could not be more friendly or helpful, my wishes were... | ||||

this hotel is perfect if you only need a place to sleep at night. the bathrooms are clean but the beds are not comfortable. i would suggest to bring you own pillowcases. the noise starts very... My (now husband) surprised me with an engagment trip to Jamaica. Keep in mind that I had never been out of the Country. Keep in mind that this was in 2000. We had a great time just going out on... I had very indiffernt feelings about the hotel. First of all the picture on the web is somewhat misleading as it really "puffs" the place up. I like the location however very serene and peaceful... Crappy! Perfect location as it is right on the ocean, but man, is this a flea bag hotel! Couldn't wait to leave. Thank God it was just one night. Will never go back. Stayed for one night at the Silver Seas (Thank God), on Jan 1st 2009. It was the only hotel we could find for one night over the New Year (now I know why).
