I will say right off the bat that we did not stay here, but we visited the spa as day-guests. The spa is in the basement, down a dark and dingy stairwell that leads into a cramped reception area... The grounds are beautiful and certainly the waters are natural hot springs without clorination. However, the slick blue painted coating of the hot springs seemed a throw back to 1960's miniature... The room we were given was way past it's prime. At over $500 a night, you would expect a bathroom without mold, peeling wallpaper, and a sink held up by a wooden post. Add to this a sliding... I stayed at TBP for a 4 day weekend last year. We booked a very pricey package that included meals, spa treatments, and a cabana suite with a jacuzzi. The staff could not keep this package straight... What happened to Two Bunch Palms? This used to be a wonderful desert oasis. Quirky, yes. Hippified, yes. Missing all kinds of things you expect in a $500 plus per night spa resort, yes. No robes... | ||||
